Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI cannot comment on this because it would be based on looking for a reason to give you a fault...this hotel did what we wanted from it
We only stayed for 1 night but the location and everything else we wanted from our booking was very good...you could walk to places such as shopping malls and places to eat

United States of AmericaI developed a banking issue( I tried to combine 2 cards to pay and ended up getting it hung up in pending trans) so not being able to use 2 cards was a problem. Didn't find the ATM til later. My room was nice but there was an odor, possibly in /around refrigerator. Would have liked to have been able to use the pool after attending our outdoor concert ( on a hot texas night in July. I have 1 large, deal breaker complaint however, first the staff was so kind as to have a fan to loan me. I will Never book a room in ANY place again that I cannot control my own temperature/fan speed again. The room temp was , for most people , pleasant but for me one of my most enjoyable aspects of being in a hotel is A very cold nights rest. I have never had one I couldn't control and I was very much disappointed
The location FABULOUS, THE staff, wonderful.the room itself was nice - super comfortable bed.

CanadaThe hotel is beginning to look a little shabby and is probably slightly over priced. The top of my shower curtain was all ripped, and frayed; the room had a very musty smell to it; and the hotel generally could do with a bit of a refresh.
Great location to access the Marriott Waterway for a conference, as well as other areas for shopping and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Large room.

United States of AmericaThe only thing I felt could have been better was the water pressure in our room. The shower water pressure was disappointing.
Perfect location if you're there for a concert at the Cynthia Woods Amphitheater. Close walk and felt very safe in the upscale neighborhood. Also very close to some excellent places to eat and shop.

United States of AmericaJust for observation; For some reason the room was extremely damp, although A/C worked great, everything felt wet. The bathtub was extremely slippery, easy fix before someone gets hurt.
The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, the location is great, the rooms are quiet and clean. The front desk staff could be an example for other hotels to train their employees.

United States of AmericaI thought the pricing was pretty high but it was last minute, and I didn't really have much choice as there was an Iron Man triathlon in town and many hotels were sold out.
I didn't have breakfast - glad it wasn't included in the price of my room or I would've been mad. There wasn't a lot one could eat when they're on a very strict diet.
