I requested my room to have a cute romantic/valentines set up with flowers or chocolates or something whatever they could do-when I booked the room. They did not do anything for me. I was disappointed.

sometimes I have to spend a lot of time to take the elevators and it stopped a lot of times in several floors. it looks like need more elevators. Also, in 3 days, anybody come to my room to clean or replace towels or bath soup and this things…

Grand Vacations rooms were superb. Spacious and very well appointed. Only complaint was you were only entitled to one room service a week which for a 9 night stay was not enough. Apparently the policy is because the properties are time share so treated differently to the hotel. Doesn’t make sense! Anyway, Maid was very obliging and cleaned the room an additional time which we paid an extra tip for. Longer stays need more room service as standard l, especially for an upmarket hotel which was orherwise wonderful.

Great location central to downtown and the main sites of the City. Lovely outdoor pool which we thoroughly enjoyed having the option to relax in after walking the streets of Chicago. Grand Vacations rooms on the top floor worth the extra fee. Very spacious and great views. Wet bar area came in very handy if you’re staying for longer than a few nights.

no late checkout facility although the hotel offered an hour goodwill above the allocated time. Also difficult to get extra toilet rolls and coffee, tea, milk delivered to room when asked for top ups as the maid doesn’t visit every day.

Its a small thing, but a swim was one reason I booked this hotel. Pool was closed one day because it was raining, I went to use it the next day and it wasnt open at the openning time (9am - so not early), so I waited for 10 minutes and had to go and phone reception to open it.

Location was great, breakfast was nice, staff on the reception were nice (free cookie and water) and room was really nice (huge). Really liked it!

Bed was too soft and sloped down on both sides. Gave us achy body from.sleep. Wished there was a kettle to make tea easily and wished there were some spoons, proper tea cups and bowls and plates provided. Water pressure was poor so showers take a longer time.

Property was in a great location, close to Navy pier and a great local supermarket. Also close to Michigan ave for shopping. Bit of a walk to the Bean but definitely manageable.

We called twice to have a set of sheets and blanket delivered for the sofa bed and they never arrived

The space was perfect and the location was great. The grocery store next door was almost lifesaving traveling with young kids and we were able to walk to plenty of destinations including the Navy Pier. The kids loved the outdoor pool!
