This stay was our first bad experience. We’ve been staying at Embarc for nearly 10 years and this was the first year our room wasn’t clean. It was extremely dusty and they hadn’t refilled the soaps/shampoos in the showers. The room looked like no one had stayed in it in months. There was also a VERY large roach that we killed in our room and at that point we requested a new room. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and got us moved right away and also discounted/refunded some of our resort fees for the trouble.

We love vacationing at Embarc! The rooms are perfect for families and offer everything you need. We also love the pools at the resort.

This review is hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

My only complaint was the Master bathroom door was too large and when you opened it into the shower, it just got in the way like 5x and was annoying. Not a huge deal. Pools were pretty but something about the color of the bottom of pools made them seem not inviting. Water was clear, perfect and the temperature was warm.

We loved all of the things to do at Resort. Location was perfect. HUGE rooms! Plenty of space for our family! Super clean rooms and facilities! Washer and dryers were nice to use for free! Swim towels provided. Friendly staff was always pleasant. Beautiful views. Really liked that they have private beach access and it was so convenient to get there. Also loved the pool at the beach. Loved that we had access on the beach to the pool and beach. It was so perfect.

Unfortunately, the couch is a sleeper couch in name only. It was completely unsleepable and very uncomfortable. We were offered a sleeper bed when we complained which was brought to the room quickly and was much more comfortable.

Very clean facilities with expensive grounds and many activities. Free tram transport to the beach was a real plus. The room layout was excellent and comfortable for my wife and me. When we did have an issue with a bed the staff was great and brought us a foldout bed.

I Didn't like the fact booking.com did not inform us of the 200.00 deposit But this clearly wasn't the resort fault. But after booking the room the resort sent an email informing us it will be one but after the fact we paid in advance and if we would have canceled because of this we wouldn't gotten the room fee back. But like I said not the resorts fault seeing the resort was everything and more I can surely see them asking for a deposit .

Everything was exceptional! From the staff to the decor of the resort to the location! Picture do this place no justice! This place is Beautifully decorated and very well kept up! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The site advertised a game room on location…..well 80% of the games were broken with no plan to repair (they claimed they did not own the games and were renting them but who would pay a rental company for a bunch of broken games?!?)

Location is great. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Staff was very friendly. All in all a great resort.

Everything from shopping to dining is available at bay towne wharf so you never have to leave resort area and sit in traffic

It was an extremely odd set up. The bed was positioned at an angle coming out of the corner in a very small room. There was a small kitchen w coffee maker, mini fridge, but no coffee provided at all. Parking was almost impossible to find & the stalls themselves were the smallest they must allowable by code

The location & the pool, although there was construction “improvements” going on all over the resort building.

Nice location, very large suites. However, online pictures do not represent all different rooms and suites. Notably, all bigger suites have a soaking bath in the bedroom!! Not pictured and not my favorite feature. All furniture is outdated and bathrooms need remodeling.

I did not like that my check in could be done from 4:00 pm and I had to wait another hour because the room was not yet clean, I did not like that one has to take out the garbage and take it to the garage, other things apart of the price there is a fee of 25$ extra per night that is not in the price when one reserves

Ceiling fan did not work. Curtains had mold. Shower had no bench to shave legs, shower felt dark and dingy. Furniture was old and stained. Sofa sleeper was old springs were sticking out
