Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Love that there's a lot to see and do there. The stores and restaurants were conveniently near. Stunning beach site and not as crowed in the late afternoon to evening as I thought it would be, which was great! Definitely would come back.

United States of AmericaI was very disappointed with the fee for parking a vehicle at the hotel parking garage (DAILY RATE: $72.25 for SELF PARK or $82.72 for using valet parking). I preferred walking to a nearby public lot that charges $1/hour instead of the fees for parking at the hotel.
Location was excellent. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. We had amazing interactions each morning with the female housekeeper who was assigned to clean our room. She easily became our favorite employee at this location. She was so caring with our belongings, upbeat in our interactions, and very proactive in finding work that would create further comfort during our stay. I have never met such friendly service staff!

United States of AmericaI purchased the family suite and it was chosen from pictures provided by the resort... the room we received was NOT the room I purchased. Disappointed in the room. I paid for one thing and got something totally different and not the quality I wanted.
Loved the location. Walking access to many things. Pretty grounds.

United States of AmericaThis property has many buildings, it is a lot of people in a little area. The whole time we were there we could never find any available chairs at any of the pools. The beach area was packed. If you wanted a chair on the beach you had to pay for it which seems ridiculous for the amount you have to pay for the rooms. All restaurants on the property were very expensive for what you get.
The location of the property was good. We had a partial ocean view room.

New ZealandWe stayed in the Ali'i tower. I guess for the $ per night I expected something more updated. It could do with a spruce up. Overall fine. The pools are not heated (I think the one with the slides might be, but it's full of kids of course) and were COLD. The adults only pool in Kalia tower had a hot pool but it was gross. Don't do the 'tour' if it's offered. It's a 2 hour sales pitch where they try to get you to buy what is essentially an updated version of a timeshare.
Proximity of everything was good. Great info from the team there. Jenn in particular from the concierge desk was great. Beautiful view over waikiki beach from our room in Ali'i tower.

United States of AmericaThe beds in the Rainbow Tower could use improvements. They are not the most comfortable. Feel a bit dated. Our balcony table was broken did call to have it replaced. They brought another table and the second one was cracked but at least this glass wasn’t broken like the last table. The coffee was terrible in taste. Could have better tasting coffee to be able to enjoy the morning sunrise on the beach front patio. Also I really wish the service in the cups were set up for four in the room, since our reservation was for four and not two. Just small details that mean a lot when you’re staying for five days. Last but not least would loved it if the room had a small microwave. I eat very little at time and then get hungry again. Wish I can reheat my leftovers instead of having to eat them cold. Just small details to a room that make a big difference in comfort when you’re already paying so much money.
The property was beautiful. The staff in every department was very nice, professional, friendly, just absolutely made you feel very welcome. Absolutely made our stay very enjoyable!!
