Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe bathroom could use a dam to remove all the excess steam.
Great hotel and location for the price you really can’t beat it. The view was beautiful we loved waking up and going to sleep to it everyday, my favorite part.

United States of AmericaThe pillows were way too soft as was the bed. When I lay down I felt like my head was sinking into the mattress. Which made me request more pillows. One of the blankets looked as if it wasn't cleaned as if there was a poop stain. The bathroom was dirty. I had to clean the sink, the soap dish, and the toilet bowl. The shower would clog and not fully come on. I would take a shower with the faucet still on which made the tube fill up and then drain slowly with left the tub with a ring around it at all times. The bathroom didn't have a vent switch and the lights were way too bright. After I had shut the bathroom lights off it left me bumping into things for a while until my eyes could adjust. The toilet paper holder kept falling apart so I ended up leaving the toilet paper on the sink for the two days.
The staff was great! Love the location! It was easy to get to places and get back.

CanadaFirst night had to stay in the older rooms which are from the early 1900s and dusty and dated.
Great location in Rutherford. Close to American Dream and NYC. Stay on floors 15 and up as the hotel is under renovation and below floors are extremely old.

United States of Americaparking was an additional fee, wifi services were not explained, so wifi was not free either. The breakfast was very mid , and buffet style at that with not many options , eggs, bacon , potatoes , toast and fruit and other breads was also not included and over priced. Just my luck the fire alarm went off for no reason at 2am only on the 16th floor where we stayed, very upsetting considering I only stayed 1 night with my husband and 2 young children who were scared out of their sleep and up most of the night after, I’m also pregnant so sleep is already not the best as it is , I asked for some some form of reimbursement and was offered 50$ off my stay which I had to advocate for because management didn’t think it was a big deal I guess. Maybe if we’d stayed more than 1 night I wouldn’t be upset but I feel like it was definitely not worth my money, for a night interrupted sleep and less than good food.
The hotel was nice and very clean. The Starbucks was a plus I guess .

United States of AmericaThe bed and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Also, the shower did not have a lot of hot water. So if the people next door to us took a shower and then we got in the water was luke warm. Once we figured it out, we took our showers early so we could have hot water. The lighting in the room was very poor also. We had to open up the curtains in order to get enough light when we needed some.
We liked that it was close to the Metlife stadium. We went for the GIANTS game. It was also close to getting in-and-out of New York City. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. The food was good and the atmosphere was really nice. We had several drinks from the bar, and those were good as well. It was convenient to be able to charge everything to the room.

United States of AmericaIn need of a serious upgrade. The revolving door was out of order and the other entry doors did not open easily. Room was dingy and dull. No working fan in the bathroom. Not worth the extra cost for a corner room as we expected a bigger bathroom. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable.
Convenience of location for the football game. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The shuttle to the stadium was exceptional and worth the fee.
