Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No housekeeping provided. Not even removing the trash or providing clean towels. Had to call for clean towels and coffee. Stayed for three nights and no one came to replace the coffee and cups in the room or the towels. The mattress was very uncomfortable.

The rooms need to be updated. The paint on the ceiling in my room was cracking.

I paid a little over $300 for one night and they still tried to charge me $18 a person for breakfast which I think is really greedy, so i just went to a restaurant

Location was convenient to where we needed to go, nice staff, great food, and great customer service! Our bathroom had issues, we called front desk, they sent someone up and switched our rooms. We appreciate them taking care of the problem so quickly!

When I told the person checking me in the I needed handicapp parking she offered me no information about where. And I walk with a cane and they put me at the last room in the hallway. Hard walk for me. I had to drive around the building to find the back entrance and handicapp parking which if they had told me was right near the elevator

The only thing keeping my score from being a 10 was not having a microwave in the room. This is a convenience that is much needed, and for the price of the rooms I was surprised to not see that.
This is a beautiful hotel. The lobby smells AMAZING! The staff is very friendly and the rooms are great. There is ample parking and the lobby us welcoming and inviting.

The check in desks were understaffed for a Saturday. It took over 25 minutes in line just to get our room keys. I didn't like the size of the towels in the bathroom (all hand towels sized). Complimentary shampoo in the bathroom but no conditioner. We ordered Starbucks at the end of the trip in the lobby and the barista made both drinks incorrectly. Also FYI, sadly no cold foam or salted caramel at this location.
We liked the location and the clean and comfortable beds. The room was a nice cool temperature upon arrival. We also liked that checkout was at noon. It was also nice not being bombarded by cleaning ladies before checkout hours (which happens often at other hotels).

The hot tub was broken (an ongoing issue) additionally the pool always was occupied for swim lessons, never was able to find a time that worked for me. The gym space was nice. Not sure why the trash in my room was never emptied during my stay.
The staff was very accommodating. Did not have breakfast there.

The body ice bucket had not been cleaned out. I had leftover water in the ice bucket I have requested a king size bed. I was given a double in addition to it being far from the elevator

Having to pay $10 for a microwave in my room after paying $200+ a night. I do Not like being nickel&dimed after paying some of the highest prices in the city for a room, Especially when I can get a nice $150 room With a microwave & no hassle.
I liked the wide open and modern style of the lobby. Most of the staff was very nice.

I didn’t like that the bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan and the door was very close to the toilet. Also the pool water was very cloudy and seemed dirty the hot tub was closed.
I loved the location of the hotel, staff, the room was very clean AC worked very well, tv, privacy, bed was comfy and how convenient everything was.

I ask for extra towels and wash cloths Saturday morning and never received them at all I know it was a busy weekend but someone could at least called and clarify that but overall my stay was great
