The carpets in the room needed to be cleaned. Would have been nice to have had an in room safe. There was a musty smell in the room.

Adjoining door to the next room had a big gap beneath and allowed too much noise from the neighbours into our room, we understand the property is about to be gutted and transformed into a Hilton so maybe this can be addressed during the works

The service was non-existent. I called the front desk to replace my bath towels and pool towels. I followed the procedure for replacing the towels. The soiled towels were collected but never replaced. The front desk staff is very kind and helpful, but the requests are not being followed up.

The outside amenities pool grills are never crowded.

the second floor we stayed on smelled like cat urine. our room was dirty. had a view of the garbage from the hotel across from us. plus it was very noisy

I booked a room with a bath tub and while I appreciate that they upgraded my room to a king bed and a walk in shower, I booked the room with the tub because I had some medical stuff done and was looking forward to relaxing in the tub for the weekend and couldn’t do that. I was told I should have included it in the notes when I booked the room but I didn’t see a section for that nor did I think I should have done that since I booked that specific type of room. If I wanted a king size bed and a walk in shower I would have booked that room. I was offered to move rooms but it wouldn’t be till Sunday afternoon and it was pointless because I checked out Monday morning. I also wasn’t told at check in that my room had been upgraded and I’m sure they were overbooked and that’s why I got moved but I made this reservation back in late December or early January so it thought I would have been guaranteed the room that I booked and not moved to a different room.

it was close to the ocean center which was nicer since I had FFCC championships to go to and we could walk there.

the pressure to join Hilton holidays and the noise of the Daytona strip. I would still recommend it and they provide ear plugs. it was great for our family get together.
