Great room fun grounds.

I didn't like that there was no screen on the patio door. Since there are no windows really in these townhomes (the bedroom looks out onto a covered porch), the door to the livingroom is the only one which can be opened for air if one doesn't want the AC on. But, with no screen, bugs can fly in. I had specifically asked for a room that was at the end of the building or end of the lot so that I wouldn't be near a lot of people. I even called the resort and explained that I just come to visit my son, that I don't go anywhere but I like to sit outside and watch the animals or be near the woods. I was told that wouldn't be a problem and then I received an email saying that request had been seen to. However, i was in the middle of a building; I looked out from my porch on another building. The people across the way had an AC that clearly had something wrong with it and it made a weird noise. Someone else left their porch light on all night long and it shone right into the living room. That kind of messes with one's night vision. I know there are going to be people at a resort, but I specifically come before the huge tourist crowds and as I said, I had asked to be sort of in the back and was told that wouldn't be a problem. So, I was a little disconcerted that I believed what I was told, but it was not the case.

The room was excellent and had more than enough space. The appliances were new, the furniture was better than any I've had in the 10 years I've been staying there. I really like that, for once, there were ottomans to put my feet up on. As a senior citizen, having an ottoman is essential. The suite was spotless and there were no complaints about any of that. This resort is always absolutely the cleanest place I ever stay in. I don't use the amenities and I know lots of people complain about the extra fee, but it includes the WiFI so I'm okay with that. The staff is always checking on you to see if you have everything you need (though I would NOT call someone on vacation at 0900 in the morning and wake them up!). Checking in was easy and quick. My son has been in Williamsburg since 2014 and I come every year and wouldn't choose another place to stay.

Pets aren't allowed. Check in is a little slow. Not enough towels or washcloths. I'm sorry I don't reuse wash clothes. I'm for the environment and saving water/electricity but that's nasty!

The grounds were well maintained and aesthetically beautiful. I enjoyed having parking in front of my unit with a separate entry. I like the secured entry. Just wish they allowed for small dogs/pets.

Housekeeping accidentally took my personal pillow while changing the linens. I never got it back and there was never any follow up from the hotel

I loved the historic building at the entrance. The rooms were great, loved the back deck.

How far we were from the pool. We never ended up using it because of the Tim they closed.

The walls are thin. We had a large group next to us who was very loud. Their patio was you see our bedroom, and it was impossible to sleep (11:30 were still loud and getting louder). We had to call security about the noise. They must have responded because the music was turned off, but we could still hear people talking and laughing through the walls for another hour or so.

The property is gorgeous with so many things to do! The apartment was spacious and lovely.

The only thing I didn't like was that I wasn't able to stay longer.

I wasn't expecting 2 sofa beds and 2 King beds. I really like the way the townhouse was set up. I like that they have a restaurant on the property. They have 2 pools an indoor and outdoor pool plus a lot of other activities and places to visit on the property. I will definitely go back again maybe they will have the houses ready by then.

Loved EVERYTHING about this location. On-site coffee house, restaurant, mini golf, playground, we spent our check out day on location enjoying our time before heading home. I felt like I was at home.

Bathroom was mostly clean but hair and dry dander in the tub. Kitchen stove bottom in renovated unit broke and sticking out. Touch up painting needed in the NEWLY RENOVATED UNIT was unusual.

Nice rooms, great staff, good indoor and outdoor pools and spas, Daily Activities for the family/Kids. Miniature Golf, Site Seeing, Playgrounds, Biking, Etc. Many things to do at the Resort.

No complaints. Only had a noisy neighbor, but put that aside and there were no issues with our stay.

Stay was very nice, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very clean and very up kept. The overall outdoor scenery and facilities were a fantastic add on for our stay. Anything we could've needed in the room was provided along with exceptional quality.
