2 suggestions would be putting a box spring under the bed in room 5 & the ability to adjust the thermostat per room versus 1 setting for the entire house as it was quite chilly.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is immaculate & everything you need is on hand with the bonus of being down the street from downtown Newport.

There was coffee available but not Tea. If you are a tea drinker bring your own. Wish I would have known this prior.

Great location! Walking distance to everything right in the heart of the downtown. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Water in sink didn’t go down and it was hard to lock the door to our room

There was no breakfast (not sure if there was supposed to be). Upon arrival, in the dark, the sign on the main door was very confusing. It said to "check-in next door" with an arrow pointing down the street.... despite actually being the door that was to be used. Next door is a private house and a B&B. Once I decided to plug the provided code into the door on a whim, despite the sign, we gained entry. Very strange and unnecessary sign. Individual room temperature control would be great but understand.

Proximity to Restaurants and Shopping.

It's really about the little details. More than 4 hangers in the closet are needed and there were no drawers to use for luggage contents. Stronger lighting would be nice as you can't open window shades due to the proximity to the neighbors. The bathroom outlet was dead so blow drying had to be done in the bedroom away from a mirror.

You can't beat the location - a quiet, charming residential street just 1 block from the main street. Very quiet and you hardly knew anyone else was staying there. It was almost like having a private house to yourself. Everything recently renovated incl. the bathrooms. Well-decorated and very comfy beds. Linens and towels were very nice and above standard hotel grade. Lovely living room/lounge if you needed extra space. Staff returned messages promptly.

Room got a little chilly for our taste. But the bedding was warm enough where it was fine.

Amazing location that was walkable to all of downtown Newport. Nicely updated room. Parking was easy. The common area was spacious.

Great location, walking distance to many attractions, parking behind house, sparkling clean, and quiet at night. Great place!

Our upstairs room was almost too cool (air conditioning balance issues) as downstairs rooms were too warm. But, having an upstairs room and blankets for night, we were good and it didn't detract from the stay.

Perfect, perfect, perfect location - one block from main street for shopping/restaurants, pier. Beautifully appointed room. Common areas (kitchen, sitting, dining) very clean, new, modern appliances. Off-street parking, Security access was easy and convenient. Pet friendly.

One of the bedside table lamps was broken. 2nd floor office lamp needed new bulb and printer would not power on. Tried several outlets to no avail. Got very hot in room at some points which caused humidity sensor in fridge to beep. One thermostat for all rooms on floor is in hallway, so adjusting would have impacted all guests on floor.

Very clean. Bathroom shower had beautiful tile and shower head. Water pressure was excellent. First floor and hallways are beautifully decorated. Kitchen was fully stocked with very tasteful dishes and cookware for every possible need. Historical photos/artwork of of old Newport were wonderful. Refrigerators throughout property were very convenient. Ample parking.

I think the photos are misleading, where it looks like you have a kitchen when you have to share it.

It was very hot when we were there and we did not know we had access to adjust the AC; therefore, we had a somewhat warm first night. Also, the bed was not comfortable. It needed a foundation or box spring. The bed was too low to the ground.

The location was excellent. We could walk to the shops, water front, cliff walk, and mansions.

Way to cold. Could not regulate the temperature. TV on the wrong wall, who watches TV on a side wall? Small room. For $1000 totally unacceptable.

Only way to even tolerate the room temperature was in bed under the blanket.

Location and comfort! off-street parking.

The location was a great! the place was clean and comfortable. If the landowner is going to make any upgrades, they should create separate zones to allow each guest to control the temperature of their own room. With that said, I would stay here again.
