Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Unfortunately, I sent clothes our for laundry and they didn't return it on time so I had to leave without 2 blazers that I will be picking up next month in my next stay.
The staff was polite and kind.

Staff
The staff was unfriendly and un accommodating. They were very robotic. We didn’t feel welcomed and the excuse was “oh there’s an influx of people here for the Nicki concert.” Which was our reason as well.

The lifts (elevators) take forever at times to get to the floor I was on.

Some lamps weren’t working. The description said “city view” but with newest building around, there isn’t any view even from highest floor
Close to multiple subway station to manhattan . A/C could be set at wished temperature or shutdown.

We stayed 3 nights. First night was sketchy, a bit after we had checked in there was a knock on the door checking whether we are in. Then around 11.30 pm someone called to the room but did not speak. And around 5am someone tried to come in our room. Other nights were okay. The doors dont hold noise much, i.e you can hear other people going and leaving their room etc. Also weird that even though it is said that breakfast is included then you can only choose one item from the menu and you need to pay breakfast tip in addition.
Good location, near the metro stations. Room was clean and comftable.

2 small elevators for 14 floors is not good. That was our biggest issue.
Hotel location was perfect. Close to subway stops and plenty of restaurants.

Every hour a train went underneath the hotel, which was audible.
Pretty big room for the price and a comfortable bathroom. The hotel is located among a lot of places I wanted to visit. Walking distance of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge and Barclay's Center. The bed was comfortable.

My bathroom wasn’t really clean. The cleaning person didn’t clean my room well.
Receptionist change my room, she really didn’t have to and she did. So I was grateful for her doing that. I I’ll be returning in a few months.

I did not like the fact that during my whole stay room service never came to bring me clean linens or clean towels. They also neglected to bring me toiletries, so I ran out of toilet paper. Halfway into my stay another thing I did not like was that one of the lights in my room was broken and also my telephone was disconnected for some reason which was very sketchy to me.
I liked that the location was extremely close to my surgeons office.

The staff needs more warmth and their customer centric orientation must be improved.
The rooms were a bit small but clean. The bed and the pillows were really comfortable. Location is great! Walking distance from Barclays Center and there were a good deal of restaurants around.

A couple of things- firstly a slightly sketchy air… On the first night we were woken at 1am by people filming a rap video. Staff were indifferent- it took us 3 attempts at check in to get a room which wasn’t already occupied and they didn’t seem too concerned by that. Similarly when we asked for an extra towel we were told they couldn’t help us. Lastly a small detail but there are only two small lifts for a 14 floor hotel- meaning long queues at times to get to your room or downstairs to leave. if you have small children or mobility issues I suspect this might be a major inconvenience
Location is super handy for several metro stations meaning fast journeys around Brooklyn and into Manhattan. Beds comfy and it was good having a pool after a days sightseeing.
