We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe parking was a pain when we first arrived. There wasn't a designated drop off zone, and there were no instructions from the hotel prior as to what our options were. It's on a busy street and the initial drop off was pretty stressful; with little to no help from the front desk (note that the front doorman, when available, was great). While it was nice to have a living space like environment, the room itself was lacking some basic amenities. A couple of examples: There were keurig cups provided, but no keurig. There was an oven in the room, but no baking sheets. There were bottles of water in the fridge upon arrival, but it wasn't clear if they were included with the room.
The location was good for walking, and it was nice to have living space to return to at the end of the night for our family.

United States of AmericaThe rooms are overpriced, parking is horrible, it’s extremely noisy at night, check-in was overwhelming because they are pitching the timeshare presentation to guest who just want to take a load off and get settled into their room, requesting a late checkout was like pulling teeth and false advertisement- the lounge does not have food and drinks; just drinks which was a major disappointment and inconvenience because the nearby restaurants were either overpriced, had horrible customer reviews or looked very sketchy when we arrived. We were forced to drive everywhere for food.
Location and the guest services staff were superb! Especially Kyle, Mr. Tony and the older black woman that works the front door- hate I forgot her name but she was so sweet, personable and gave us great food and attraction recommendations!

United States of AmericaEverything was good until checkout.. when we first got there william told us checkout was 12 if late check out its 1 or 2. On the day of checkout found out its 10. We were a hour late checking out thinking its 12. The ladies that day were rude. My daughters were trying to finish getting dressed they were putting them out the room to clean it. Housekeeping just stood by the door. Loke i saud the beginning was nice but at the end it was horrible.

United States of AmericaThis was not two king beds. It was two tiny double beds so it was not enough to actually accommodate us. The beds were also very uncomfortable. We were on the 8th floor and the street noise was extremely loud. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everyone coming into the hallway clearly talking as if they were in the room. Neither us nor our kids were able to sleep at all. It was so bad we checked out a day early and left exhausted.

AustraliaWe were offered the 'opportunity' to attend a 90 minute seminar on the hotel company's resort membership in return for a free city tour for two worth $100 each plus $150 cash. We declined but two resort staff continued to try to sell the deal to us which became annoying and time wasting. The staff should accept a guest's decision not to participate rather than continue to try to convince them to change their mind.
Good location, a block away from the French Quarter. Two bed apartment was nice and reasonably large with multiple TVs and otherwise good facilities.

United KingdomWe did not like the rude concierge. After a delayed flight we arrived later than expected with 2 young children, check in was smooth and quick then we were passed over to the concierge, it started well, friendly with lots of info, he then asked if we could give up an hour and half of our time for a presentation in exchange for some cash, I politely declined, however, he did not let this go. He tried to pressure us into going to this presentation which was clearly to sell something that we are not interested in. I understand he’s doing his job but after someone has declined MANY times, know when to stop, it was late, the children were hungry and tired after a long day travelling and he was busy asking me ‘who hurt my feelings’ trying to guilt me into giving up our very little holiday time. Read the room. His more polite colleague then took over as clearly he could see we’d had enough. The rooms are fine, not anything special but fine, our view was none existent and there was no housekeeping in the 4 nights we were there. But aside from that one concierge, the rest of the staff was great.
Location was great, the reception area was lovely. The reception staff were fab.

United KingdomThe receptionist took payment from us even when we had already paid, leading us to experience extra charges. We had to chase for a cot to be brought to the room. Above all, there are near constant marketing calls and requests throughout your stay from Holiday Inn Resorts. We were called down to reception just to be given sales talks, and rung relentlessly even before 9am in our room. This was incredibly oppressive and unnecessary.
The size of the apartment style room we booked was ideal for our young family. The location is handy for French Quarter and the Green streetcar and the kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed. The Mardi Gras themed welcome was also fun and made us feel at home when we arrived.

United States of AmericaThere was no restaurant on site and when we explored recommended restaurants, everything seemed to be “reservation only” which staff should have informed us of. We hadn’t eaten a proper meal in 2 days because of this. We were also recommended to attend a time share event which we declined on arrival but received calls to the room to further persuade us.
We were in the heart of everything so walking to everything was very convenient.

United States of Americathe staff and valet was terrible. Every time we requested our car it took over 25 minutes. The last day we were there, I physically went down to request the car, at 4:45am, went back upstairs to finish packing and came back down 20 minutes later to the same woman who I requested the car from, just calling in our ticket number to the valet. it took another 24 minutes to get the car and we missed our flight.
