You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThis hotel misled me stating in the reservation online that “breakfast” is included in the price of the room (the equivalent of $20 for two people). While comparing rates of other nearby hotels who clearly state that they only offer “continental breakfast,” I ultimately decided to book the Baymont in Chelsea because it appeared they offered a hot breakfast in the morning, NOT a continental breakfast. Expecting a hot breakfast to be served in the morning, I came downstairs to the lobby to unfortunately learn that it was only a continental breakfast (only coffee, pastries, bagels, cereal, juice, etc.) When I brought this to the attention of the staff, and I explained my expectation (BASED ON THEIR ADVERTISEMENT) I was told that it has been difficult to “get groceries,” and that even at local restaurants their has been “a shortage of workers/cooks,” and that “I was told the verbiage was changed online to say cold breakfast.” This very nice staff person may have been told this, however it DOES NOT state cold breakfast. And it makes sense that this may in fact be the case because of the pandemic. All in all, not a huge deal but I did feel misled and that it is a bit deceptive to their customers with the current phrasing online and other booking sites. Other than this, the hotel is very comfortable and clean, and was to my satisfaction.

United States of AmericaSqueaky bed, loudly squeaky bathroom door, the elevator sounded like it was about to die every time I got on it, most people were not wearing masks and endangering my health, a party in the parking lot at 2 am prevented me from getting a good night's sleep and then I was charged for a night at a second Baymont when I tried to cancel after this bad experience.

United States of AmericaKey to door lock did not work very well, had to insert fast for a couple minutes until green light. Got 5 new keys before giving up asking. Key did not let us in side doors. Spider webs and flies in stair case was not pleasant. Breakfast was not very good.
Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. In small town was good.

United States of AmericaNOT CLEAN AND STAFF DOES NOT CARE! The room or at least bathroom was not cleaned and posted COVID safety policy was not followed. There was a ring on the sink vanity and when I wiped the vanity with my own disinfectant wipe, the wipe was filthy. The toilet seat and toilet was visibly not clean. There was a pair of sunglasses and room card on the desk when I entered. The sign posted on the hotel entrance required masks to be worn in public places and no staff or other guests were wearing masks and when I asked, the staff at front desk shrugged and said "yeah, no one follows that". After bringing all this to the attention of the front desk, I was told no refund or cancellation was allowed. Extremely disappointing and unsafe in today's world and I would never recommend it or stay there again.
