Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom thermostats don't work - reception told every visitor they had to call to get the temperature changed. I called as my room was very cold, but nothing was done. Only one small towel given, and only decaff coffee one day. Not the end of the world, but other hotels do much better. Thin walls. The couple next door seemed to enjoy their stay, from what I heard (even though the TV was on).
Good location. Breakfast was good.

United KingdomNot much at the price, but it wouldn't have been anything special unless it had been directly connected to Browns next door.
Well located hotel in down town Denver close to State capital building and various museums. Turns out to be originally built as the "poor wing extension" of the Browns Place hotel...a rather sumptuous appointed old style Denver hotel with great history best viewed on Wikipedia. Its entrance atrium is worth the walk across the road alone. There's a decent pub and a cigar bar located within, so you needn't leave the area. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was basic but serviceable. Denver Union station was a free bus ride away (Mall hopper, not hotel shuttle) and from there its $ 10 by train to the airport.

Loved the location, the eggs were mediocre, but as expected with buffet quality. The coffee could have stood to taste better.

United States of AmericaThe directions given to the Paramount were a little longer walk than it needed to be for me as a a disabled person. You need better maps of specifics directly around the hotel.
The security of the place. And the staff was exceptional making me feel safe and not a burden. The elevators needing a card to work was a surprisingly wonderful step of added security.

SpainThere is some noise in the rooms, due to the continous ventilation system. If you are very sensitive to noise, this could be a slight problem. Sometimes the temperature in the room is not properly regulated. In general, personal is very friendly. However, we needed an invoice for the stay and the lady at reception told us, in a little rude way, that it was not possible because we made the payment directly through booking. This is not true: as booking explicitly says in their web page, the property is responsible of the invoice, not booking, even paying directly to booking. That was a big problem for us in order to justify our stay for the company, and we had to contact again with the hotel through email. This second time we where able to obtain a little more detail ticket, but still without code on it. I appreciate the effort of the hotel to give us something similar to an invoice, but still I don't understand being so obscure about facilitating a real indexed invoice.
The location is one of the best, in the downtown. For the price, I think it is a good deal. Beds are very confortable! Breakfast was great, both with healthy and energetic options, and more classic ones. Regarding the room, there are some awesome views, depending on the particular room.

United States of AmericaTiny room and the drains didn’t work very good. The breakfast didn’t provide any real healthy options for a complete breakfast. When it was stated that it had a American breakfast, I was expecting a proper American breakfast, not microwaved soggy eggs, bacon, sausage etc. terrible food.
