Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe property was clean and there was cleaning service every day. There wasn’t that many options for breakfast but it was good. I had an incident but the staff was quick at responding and helpful, even though it still hasn’t been resolved.

LithuaniaThere is a lack of lighting in the rooms, there was no light in the room, apart from the bathroom and the corridor. Lack of insulation, very thin walls when you can hear all the neighbors. There are a lot of drug addicts and homeless people on this street, it's a bit uncomfortable in the evenings.
Helpful staff. Especially high recommendations for the man who worked at the reception. We had a problem with payment, and a broken hair dryer and entry card, but this employee fixed everything right away. Good breakfast. Has hot food and desserts. A really good choice before traveling around New York. Convenient location for getting around Manhattan. Every day there are treats for the guests. It's chips or hot chocolate..very great idea.:)

GermanyThe elevator traffic can get very crowded during peak hours of breakfast and check out timings . Good for us that our room was on the 5th floor so that we could use the stairs some time. Breakfast hours were a bit inconvenient which is only until 09.30 in the morning . However did feel that would be better if it could extend until 10.30. Also the buffet got very crowded with no seating available until we reached.
The location of the hotel is very good , it is right in the centre of Times Square . All city attractions are 10 to 15 mins away from hotel location ( subway stations , bus terminal is 7 mins walking distance. Room was neat and tidy . Staff is very friendly .

ArubaI was on the 3rd floor, the windows were so dirty it hurts to look through them. The breakfast area is so small that you have to share a table for breakfast with complete strangers, very awkward
I like the location, it was not noisy or anything.

Puerto RicoThe only thing that was a little uncomfortable was the damaged elevator, but was fixed less then 24 hours so it was a small inconvenience.
The location was great since it was really close to turistic places within the city. The Ubers and taxis arrived very fast to the location and we wouldn't have to pay much since everything was close. The rooms of the hotel have great views towards the city on the higher floors. Finally breakfast was very good and had cold and hot options including hot coffee and juices. I liked that they always had coffee available for people and sometimes hot chocolate.

United States of AmericaElevator not working 2 days of our trip. Took an extra 30-40 minutes to enter or exit the building. This was not good, and I truly feel the hotel should have adjusted my final bill for the inconvenience. Time waiting for the elevator was time away from the hotel room or our vacation.
Location and convenience.

United States of AmericaThe area isn’t good, they had homeless people in and out of the hotel. The drain for both bathroom baths wouldn’t close so it’s better to just get a shower room. Then they give 2 water bottles per room a day for complimentary, however we had 2 rooms but still only allowed the 2 waters.
I liked that most of the staff was friendly! And breakfast was good with a variety of items.

Puerto RicoTo the upper management: INVEST IN NEW ELEVATORS! The worst part of the stay were the elevators, for whatever reason they did not work 100% and the excellent staff were doing everything in their power including having an improvised elevator operator manually working the only operational elevator. This is not the staff's problem, is upper management not wanting to invest in new equipment. Quit being stingy and invest. Both future guests and current employees will thank you for it.
We liked the location, very close to Times Square, Penn Station, bus stops, and 42nd Station which are crucial to moving around NYC. The room was clean, good wifi and breakfast. Excellent staff, they went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable and convenient. Very cordial, kind and extremely helpful.
