We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only downsides is there's no parking and you have to pay $33 a night for private parking the location is not in a good spot

The clickaty Clackaty of the subway cars all night and this place was to be non smoking but the sixth floor smelled like a pot party was going on all night plus the parking for 33.00 a night was a little steep

The location wasn’t really optimal. Plus I’m not familiar with NY and the area, so I’d really hoped it’d be a nicer area of Brooklyn.
It was clean, comfortable and the breakfast options were not bad. The staff was kind and helpful, had no complaints.

One side faces the MTA train depot. Therefore, it can be a bit noisy.
Breakfast was great and refilled quickly. The staff were professional and friendly.

The restrooms were a bit small, the toilet was in a separate room from the sink and shower stall and the sink space was small.
It was very close to many restaurants and stores so it was easy to commute. The rooms were pretty big for a family of four. We loved the decorations put up for Christmas and the fact that they had a gym😊

Nice spacious rooms although we had a bit of problem with the bathroom handles being a bit loose and the water was not always hot. Not a huge issue but it was noticeable. Also the room was not that clean unfortunately. The rooms soundproofing was not that good as we could hear other people in neighbouring rooms and every single sound in the corridor
Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Location is good and very close to a subway station. Although the neighborhood looks a bit rundown it is actually safe. The room was big and the bed comfortable.

The price was steep but aside from that the only thing I didn’t like was the temperature control in the room. It was one of those strange “east coast” fall days at almost 70 plus degrees and at night sleeping was horrible. The only conclusion I could come up with was that they don’t allow you to regulate the settings in your room. AC on 69 and could feel the heat pumping through the vents. The feel like in the room on the 2nd floor was easily 75-78 degrees or warmer.
The location was good, pretty quiet area. The property was very clean and the front desk staff was pleasant. Check in was simple however, they charged the card on file before I ever got there. I was assured it would be switched to the correct card. Breakfast was decent with a variety of hot and cold offerings. 24 hour coffee and tea was a definite winner in NYC. Mini dove toiletries were cute. USB outlets on each side of the comfy bed was a plus. Parking garage next door was affordable with in and out privileges.

After arriving we reported broken handshower and were ensured two days straight that it will be replaced. It was never replaced. Three towels instead of four every day, even after reporting it every single day. Breakfast space is shared with lobby so you know where that is going.
Breakfast was ok although it could have some veggies. Place was clean. Beds were comfy. It was long way to manhattan but at least the subway station is 2mins of walk.

Very limited seating for breakfast - scattering people throughout lobby and never enough seats. Location close to subway stop but a good way from anything interesting in Brooklyn.
Did the job. Comfy room and everything functional. Breakfast was tasty if DIY and lacking seats.

I think it was the carpet on the 3rd floor: it smelled a little like wet dog.
Staff were friendly! Warm breakfast was nice, coffee tasted good. Rooms are clean and modern. Like the option of soft and firm pillows.
