Like most places in Austin, late night, you might consider Ubering back to this property.

Great people at the front desk. Breakfast was good. Parking was very secure. Easy walk to the Capitol, Esther's Follies on 6th Street and Rainey Street. Nice pool area.

It will be great to add few more breakfast menu like eggs, or made with it, porridge even fast preparing. There are a lor of homeless people surround the hotel, it seems unsafe to walk in the evening.

The location is not great. Seemed like a bit of a rundown neighborhood. Even so, we had no problems walking all over Austin from the hotel. A few more healthy options for breakfast would be nice. The hotel seems to have been renovated but lacks a modern feel. Regardless, it’s not a bad place to stay.

Room was fine. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Breakfast was OK.

Room cleaning: they have never vacuumed the room and bathroom during our stay. Some coffee spills on the countertop have not been wiped. The air vent in the room brings all the noise from the music venues directly into the room. So, bring the best ear plugs you have.

The location, especially for SXSW — it's close to the conference center and to several of the music venues. The staff is very helpful, the room is big and comfortable, good breakfast.

I could hear everything in the hallway. I think most people had the same experience so kept quiet when out so it wasn’t horrible, but doors closing or people chatting sounded like they were in my room. Bizarre. The location is near Austin’s homeless services office, and just a block or two away there is plenty of activity: people sprawled on sidewalks passed out, pooping just off the path, and other antics. If you’re walking that’ll be part of your experience depending on your route.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and organized hotel.

Bathtub had only one grab bar and did not have anything on the floor of the tub to prevent slipping. Parking was a bit confusing the first time, but after we figured it out it was fine.

Front desk staff (Emmanuel) was very helpful and welcoming. We had a power outage just as we were leaving and he was able to help us as we left the property. Breakfast area was clean and selection was excellent.

A good choice for our 3 nights in the city; we would stay there again.

We were charged twice for parking we'd pre-payed (but was cheerfully fixed by desk staff) and we've been home for over a week and are still waiting for refund on the damage deposit they apply to the tariff. It took a LONG time for the water in the shower to warm up, and it didn't warm at all on our last day. Having coffee available in the lobby 24/7 would have been nice - what's provided in the room is minimal - plus a microwave at the breakfast bar to heat up muffins and lukewarm items. $30 per night for parking is no fun but sort of standard for downtown hotels all over the country; some charge more that.

Very friendly front desk staff; let us check in early. Breakfast (included in the rate) was fine; plenty to get going in the morning. Underground parking felt secure. Fitness room was clean and equipment in working order. Mini fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and TV in the room all worked well, and our room was very clean plus furnishings were all in good shape. We didn't experience any issues with noise but earplugs were thoughtfully provided, and we were there during the week. Noise might be an issue during the weekends.
