The sopha like piece of furniture in our room was a cushioned bench (OK so far), with one corner of firm walls (not good at all). It was OK as a faux bed for a little kid but totally useless unless you wanted to sit straight-backed (no flex at all) with your legs flat on the bench. Suggest HIA take that piece to Goodwill or burn it in a field and just put in a standard cushioned chair or a small actual sopha. The property, while very efficient and functional, just seems to have no home like touches. The art on the wall, if you call it art, looked like either floor or paint samples. I did better "art" in 1st grade finger painting. Come'on HIE, maybe a pic of a mountain, a tree, or even a poster of a real painting. What we had seemed fitting for a prison.

A new, very functionally efficient property. Well organized and good for business travelers as well as families with kids. Decent breakfast, as hotel commuter buffets go.

The hotel is conveniently located near High Desert Museum and Old Mill District Restaurants and grocery stores located 1 mile away. Our room was clean, quiet and staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, omelets, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, bacon and sausage patties and more.

The beds were comfy and the heating/cooling worked perfectly. Quiet. My kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

When assigning rooms as folks check-in, perhaps consider keeping families with small children to the bottom floors if the hotel has no soundproofing.

Nice, spacious and clean room. I had to move due to the noise from the floor above me (small kid jumping around, etc.). The girl at the front desk accommodated my request without any issue. She was very friendly and I appreciated her understanding and professionalism. Aside from that, the hotel is in a good location and is pet friendly which is a huge plus for me since I travel with my dog. I would recommend this hotel to all travellers.

When we arrived at 6pm there was one visitor waiting in the lobby for an absent desk clerk. The clerk emerged from the employee lounge (down the hall) about 5 minutes after my arrival. The clerk claimed to be new and did not know how to apply my IHG Rewards number to my stay; that I would have to do that upon checkout tomorrow. When we left for dinner at 6:45pm there were three groups waiting to check in and the clerk was absent once again. At breakfast the staff could not keep up with demand. Eggs went empty for 15 mins, coffee pot ran dry twice, as did the hot water dispenser for tea drinkers, and the trash cans over-flowed for a time.

Brand new facility means everything is clean and bright. Good breakfast selection.

The fact that the breakfast ended at 9:30 and not 10:00.

I thought the breakfast was ok but we thought that it would last until 10:00 but that was only on weekends so when. we got down there for breakfast there wasn't much left.
