Dead bolt didn't work properly...stayed at a nicer holiday in in Fredericksburg for 3 nights for the cost of 1 night here....hotel is not bad but is not worth the $213 a night...this is price gouging.

You really need to look at how expensive your hotel is. It's nice and in a great location but almost $200 a night is ridiculous. We have stayed at this hotel many times we have always had a great rate under $125 a night. What you charge for one night is outrageous now.

Wish they had a hot breakfast. The price is wayyyy too expensive.

Unfortunately, my room was very close to the lobby and it was quite noisy throughout the night. Just people coming and going, and speaking at a normal volume -- but I could hear it all.

BUGS! There were 3 bugs in the room. One in the bed, thankfully not a brd bug, one in the bathroom and one on the ceiling. When told at front desk it was brushed off as it's that time of year. Should never be 'that time of year'

A 3 day stay, never told of housekeeping shortage. Nothing replenished. Soaps/shower gel watered down. Hair cond. out. Didn't replenish coffee. Lighting incredibly dim in bathroom. No trash removal until we asked. A couple of dead bugs (tiny) on the spare bed.

Coffee machine too high on a shelf to operate. Sink drained very slowly. No batteries in the TV remote. Refrigerator made so much noise we had to unplug it.

Room smelled like smoke, despite no smoking rule, which I had to acknowledge in writing on check in. We should have requested a different room, but we had a can of lysol in the car and chose to try to deal with the issue ourselves. Unfortunately the odor kept coming back throughout the evening, but we were already situated. Ironically, we concluded it probably was in the ac system which we had cranked up to circulate air to clear out the odor. I was going to alert management on our way out for the benefit of the next guest, but nobody was at the front desk & we were the in a hurry.

Location was convenient. Parking, access to & from room was great. American breakfast was included and very good.

Had to request a change of the room, because my husband and I could smell the smoke in the room. The 2nd room was much better, but very freezing! The temp was set at 63!! So had to change the temp to 78. By the time we checked out the next morning, it was 75, more comfortable! The Kleenex box was empty!

Breakfast was very limited in selections this time, probably due to Covid restrictions. However, I liked what I ate- biscuit with eggs, cheese, and sausages. Also, I took the Grab and Go bag.

When entering the room the tile entryway was sticky when walking on it, not a good first impression! Shower gel was virtually empty…barely enough for 1 shower…thank goodness for the bar of soap. The sound from neighboring rooms and hallway was surprising; lack of appropriate soundproofing and a gap under door makes for a restless night of sleep. When arriving back at hotel Friday evening chatted with staff and was told they were sold out. With that info were very surprised going to breakfast at 8:30 on Saturday that several items were not replenished; went to front desk to inform as no evidence after a couple minutes kitchen staff was around to ask. Front desk went to check with Kitchen staff who came out 5 minutes later to check and then came back to get trays for hot food several minutes afterwards and then several more minutes before filled trays were brought out. Are there only one set of trays? would there not be a second set to put food in to carry out to replace empty’s? With no hot food we picked up yogurt and oatmeal…unfortunately there were no utensils out to eat with…several people were in same situation. Coffee urns and one hot water were empty. When a hotel is sold out for breakfast on a Saturday morning you would expect kitchen staff to monitor frequently and replenish food as needed.

The location to where we were spending our time was very convenient. Front Desk Staff was friendly…although not used to front desk staff in ordinary clothes…when interacting away from desk with a group you could not tell who staff was until you could see a name tag. At a minimum a standardized shirt that would help in identifying HI front desk.
