Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This location was ideal for day trips around Colorado Springs. Breakfast buffet was great. Clean new environment. Good mattress. Quiet room. Would stay here again if in the area. Two thumbs up for Holiday Inn Express.

That it was just a nice area clean nice. Wish the pool was open. Used to have a headed pool it was so nice during the winter so much fun. But that had closed and not sure when the pool is open again.
Location of the property it in the middle of all kinds of fun!

I don’t know why they made the lobby look uninviting after the breakfast. The bar stools were upside down on the bar, the chairs were all pushed in tight to the coffee tables. It felt like they didn’t want you to use the lobby. We were traveling with other people and it would have been nice to have a lobby that we felt comfortable to visit.

Breakfast was good, lots of options host in dining area kept things nice and neat and was very friendly greeting guests. Quiet clean rooms and location away from traffic noise.

We were hoping for a room with a view of the mountains, but instead we were facing the back of the hotel.
It was a nice hotel. The location was close to all of the attractions we came to see.

There was no potato options for my son he was not happy with that but I understand not everyone eats potato every morning fresh cut fruit would have been a huge plus.
The pancake maker was fun to watch and I always love a bagel lots of good things in the fridge to choose from

They still have social distancing signs up. That’s ridiculous and it is not welcoming.

On checkin, asked for bathroom with walk in shower; was given bathroom with tub. Reservation confirmation showed getting a west facing Mountain View room; given an east view of parking lot.

The property in and of itself is fine. I liked that they had a washer dryer so you could wash them dirty clothes instead of putting stinky ones in your suitcase. Price was a little high. I suppose to be expected since it was IDay at the Air Force Academy 
Liked the location in North Colorado Springs, and it was close to the Air Force Academy

We had to ask the front desk three different times within two different days thst we needed refill of shampoo, conditioner and body wash as the one in iur room was out. We also tried to tell the cleaning crew but due to language barrier they didn't understand us.
The rooms were nice and cleaned daily. Breakfast choice was good.

There was ONE kleenex in the box in our bathroom and no replacement box. The USB ports next to the bed had been damaged previously and not fixed. Had to charge phones across the room from the nightstand.
Nice, clean facility. The complimentary breakfast had lots of choices and was quite good.

not the cleanest room (had to switch rooms because sofa sleeper mattress was disgusting, then next room wasn’t very clean), wish I realized it was an outdoor pool-kids were disappointed but March in CO is too cold to swim

some of the amendments were broken the toilet paper hold was falling out the wall. Bed kept making a loud popping sound every time you got on and off.

Food and coffee at breakfast were constantly running out and staff was more interested in talking in the back room than doing their job. It was a bit anoying having a timeshare salesman with a steady stream of people coming in and out of the lobby.

Old left over food in refrigerator. No bath towels in room. Broken toilet roll dispenser. Hair conditioner dispenser was broken.
