The hotel had a lot of potential, but there are so many small things that ruin your stay. These things could have been solved with more attention of managers, but nobody seems to care. The hotel are going to respond and say that "I could have raised these points during my stay", but none of the following points could have been solved, even if I had raised them earlier: The toilet bowls were a bit dirty. The room key cards are of very low quality and they lose their encoding if you put them close to your phone. We had to ask to re-encode them about 5 times in a 2-night stay, this was really annoying. Once you put the key card in the same pocket as your phone or wallet - it's ruined. Breakfast looks like nobody cares about it. There's a pancake machine, but it doesn't even produce whole pancakes, there's something jammed inside. The other things at breakfast like scrambled eggs are located inside some plastic device that is super hard to open and close. It is obvious that no manager had tried eating breakfast there in a long time. In the bathroom there is no bar soap, only liquid soap hanged on the wall, at a height that is too high for an 8-year-old to reach. So kids always need help using a soap. The TV has a lot of channels, but it's not a smart TV, so if you want to watch Netflix or Prime Video using your personal account you need to use your computer and the hotel's WiFi. The problem is that the hotel's WiFi disconnects every 30-60 minutes and you need to reconnect.

It's the closest hotel to Splash Lagoon, and you get to enter Splash Lagoon 1 hour earlier than everyone else by staying in the hotel (maybe this applies to the other few hotels adjacent to the water park). The king room was spacious.

Staff did not know a lot of answers to questions we had, such as "where is Hawthorne inn/comfort inn" because they allow HI guests to use their pools, but the staff didn't seem to know. Also, when we arrived, our reservation said check in was 4pm, but the staff informed us that it was "4pm or later" and that our room was not ready (along with quite a few other people.) Last, breakfast was nice but they start tearing it down early (we came down at 9am and breakfast goes until 10), they were out of a lot of stuff (juice, cereal, fruit to name a few) and they would not set out more, so we suggest you get there early (8:15 or before).

Nice, clean rooms, close to the Waterpark. Rooms were comfy and spacious.

After working a long day and driving a far distance, having all hopes that we were going to have a relaxing weekend all to find out booking never put the reservation through to our hotel. it was a very stressful situation and uncalled for. That’s not a mistake that should be made when people are traveling any type of distance. And yes we have confirmation of the booking and everything and yet the hotel had no reservation.

we booked our stay through booking and after traveling over three hours to our hotel that was booked, they never even received the reservation from booking and advised us to never book through a third party website because they do stuff like this all the time. after trying to book our rooms on site, they didn’t even have the rooms available so we had to go else where after traveling a far distance. thankfully the staff was very friendly and helpful and found us another room at a local hotel near by to save us that headache.

In the bathrrom the tub had some mold stains on the edges however it was clean and the mirror was not cleaned from the last guest as there were greay water marks on it. Housekeeping is done only by request and there are no pens and paper in the room.The kitchenette was okay but the microwave had a burnt look and smell inside so I didn't attempt to use it. The TV had 2 verticle lines burnt into the screen so watching TV wasn't as normally enjoyable.

The staff was very welcoming and assisted in everyway when I inquired about their services. The room was a spacious suite which includes a sink, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. and 2 queen beds that seemed larger than average. The hot breakfast was a bonus as it was included with the room rate. The bathroom had full size Dove products which were very moisturizing and had lovely scents. When I asked for a couple of extra toiletries and shower caps they were more than accommodating.

The hallway to our room smelly TERRIBLY! Sea food and feet. It was gross. Not sure if the people next to us were having seafood in their rooms or what. Yuck. It smelled that night and the next morning.

Pool situation wasn’t clear. Also, lobby bathrooms were locked, so had to go up to our fifth floor room from the breakfast room during the meal.

You do NOT have near enough carts for luggage. There was no cart available at check in or check out. This was upsetting. And since you do not offer a pool and are connected to the splash lagoon, entry should NOT cost extra. That should be included in the cost of the room. And I asked for discounted tickets for area attractions, and your staff had nothing to offer. I was mostly upset about the luggage cart issue. You have plenty of room to store more by the ice machines on each floor. There is absolutely no reason you can't have more available for guest use.

The breakfast was very good. The staff was very polite and courteous. The room was very nice and spacious.

We had a room with a pull out couch, but the couch didn't have a mattress, it was really just couch cushions that pulled out into bed length. They seemed old and in need of replacement. Not very comfortable.

I don't lik the fact that booking threw Booking.com versus Splash Lagoon my stay didn't come with water park passes for the entire week end & when I was told that upon check I was livid & I was then told that I had too go too splash & purchase 6 water park passes for my family as if the amount I jus spent on the room didn't suffice! If I had knew that from the beginning I definitely would have booked another way very inconvenient for me & my family!

I booked a room with a Jacuzzi tub I thought but when we arrived they said because of overbooking they changed my room,I was kinda odd upset it was for my daughter and her birthday but we still had a great time!

While it was nice to see families enjoying a special outing, breakfast was very crowded and noisy. It's a very nice place, but perhaps not the destination of choice for those who only want a bed and breakfast..

Because it's connected to a splash park not only is the cost to stay higher, but also there is no pool or hot tub to use unless you pay extra.
