We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

the layout of the room. 2 queen beds- 1 was up against the ac unit -so you could not walk on that side of the bed. the shower had no where to place soap or sponges.. there was also a grab bar on the outside I am partially disabled and would have loved one on the inside of the shower
the breakfast was excellent. the location was perfect

The rude customers staying in the hotel and I recommend yall give the guy running the front a raise for being professional and being as quick as possible being yall had him working the desk by himself at check in time which seems unnecessary but he handled himself very well.
Room was clean and was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful even after multiple guest were extremely rude to them and he handled the situation perfectly. I was more than happy to step up and say something to the rude guest when the man running the front was doing the best he could with people checking in by himself.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like. Everything was good
Room had plenty of space. Everything was clean and the staff at check-in was so friendly. I was very surprised by the breakfast bar. It was good and had plenty of options. The location was excellent. It was located right in the middle of Hiawassee so we were close to all the stores and it's just a short drive to Helen or across the border into North Carolina to go to Cherokee or even into Tennessee. We will be staying here again when we come in the area.

It was eerily quiet. Not the hotel's fault only 5 cars on lot overnight. Breakfast good but oatmeal like water and pancake machine not working because out of pancake mix.... was charged an extra night's charge told it was only a hold charge for the reservation???still waiting on a credit for that charge.
The bed was the best I have ever slept on!!!

Morning breakfast was ok. Pork patty sausage was rubbery. The morning juice dispenser was not working. The lady working the breakfast was clearly in a strain keeping it all together.
Really liked our walk-in shower. Great water pressure. Best shower. Lady at checkin was very polite and gave us all discounts she could. Cinnamon rolls and sausage gravy biscuits were great.

I didn't expect the amount of unfinished remodeling there was. It was very inconvenient. The staff were great to help. The hotel will be beautiful when done. By now it should be perfect.
Breakfast was good considering the amount of remodeling.

It had a smell about it in the lobby and in our room. And our exhaust fan in our bedroom didn’t work. The room was hot when we entered.

The renovations made getting to the car difficult and the elevator kept shutting prematurely on our shoulders.

the hotel was still doing renovations so a little dusty and elevator was hot ( not much ventilation), but really didn’t effect our stay.
The room as amazing! big clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The lobby looked horrible because they are in the midst of remodeling. The hotel was at capacity the night we stayed and they ran out of water and snacks to sell.
The newly remodeled rooms are amazing, highly recommend! Very spacious, huge television, comfy beds, led frame bathroom mirror.

The pool heater needs to be better way to cold still with it on.

Check in was easy and front desk staff nice.Breakfast was very good..love the ease of Pancake maker..so much better than the usual waffle maker.. Standard eggs bkfast sausage and cereal....I must have gotten a renovated room..paint looked fresh and it was clean and smelled nice..
