The bathrooms could use exhaust fans. The rooms need some updating and smell a little musty when walking in. The hotel entrance was taped off for construction but there was a small walkway to get in. There were some storage containers that looked like there was some remodeling going on but it didn't seem as there was no activity for some time.

The location was great, walking distance to downtown and located next to Toyota Center and convention. Free parking was great since many hotels in the downtown area only offer paid valet parking.

After 15 minutes of arriving there was some sort of electrical fire between the 1st and 2nd floor. We had to evacuate. Then around 9 am the next morning a loud alarm(not alarm clock) went off and was on for about 3 minutes. Wasn't a huge problem but it was an inconvenience after traveling.

The pool was pretty awesome. Nice and warm. The rooms were clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. Nice water pressure.

It is a bit old and dated. The Hot Tub was not hot at all. Also, promised a late checkout the year before when I booked the room. They finally gave it too , but not without a lot back and forth about last minute management directions. This was marathon weekend.

The location was great. Free parking and the gate is locked at night.

Hotel is in an excellent location, perfect for a Hornets game (Toyota Centre), and located next to the city, shopping and facilities. Hotel was comfortable with onsite and free parking, maybe a little dark in the rooms, and a little old fashioned but nothing to worry about. Great bar down the road in walking distance called the rustic which is definitely worth a visit.

Bathtub leaked and did not drain properly. I don’t like standing in water while showering. For some reason the phone kept ringing. It would ring every few hours finally unplugged so I could sleep.

I asked the lady at the front desk for a dolly cart for my luggage. And she told me that I needed to look around the hotel for it that she didn’t know where they were. I asked her if she could get someone to look to find it for me, and she said no that they would be around the elevators for me to look, I think this was poor customer service. It is the hotels job to accommodate the customer.

The location was excellent. The person I checked in with was extremely nice and very helpful. He went over and beyond to help and be nice to me as well as other customers that I witnessed.

Bathrooms need updated showers. Shower head had very little flow & shower nob was very loose making it hard to get a good amount of hot water to come out. Shower curtain didn’t cover enough & water went all over the floor. Also housekeeping came knocking on door at 9:00 am, while I was still sleeping, even with the Do Not Disturb sign on the door handle!!!!

Excellent location for us, our first visit to the USA. The highlight of our trip was to attend a baseball game and the Houston Astros home ground is within a very comfortable walking distance. Good restaurants a few minutes walk too. During the heat wave the pool was a blessing.

The room was too cold for me and we couldn’t adjust the temperature.

It was right in the middle of town and accessible to different venues. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful.
