Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

First, the TV in our Room was broken, and the remote would not work. Second, the hot water was barely hot enough to take a shower. I would describe it more accurately as warm water. I understand we’re all trying to conserve energy these days, but a hot shower is not negotiable.

The location! We arrived in the late afternoon and we wanted to visit Beale Street. It was close by and the parking (for Beale Street) wasn't expensive AT ALL regarding what we usually pay in America. The person who had at the check-in was super nice ! The room was really comfy.

Several cars in the gated parking area had their windows busted out and belongings gone through. We checked out at midnight due to this, leaving a day earlier than planned on our vacation. I never seen security until after the cars were vandalized.
The staff was polite and attentive. The property was clean.

Memphis in general is in sad shape. Graceland is a huge tourist draw, but the entire area is run down, closing. This hotel may be a step to help improve the area - it was nice, looked nearly new. There were street repairs near there, but the plates were moved and the gap in the street is scary. Businesses near the tourist attraction? Nope. In general, Memphis needs to improve a lot to keep people coming in. We left there feeling sorry for your city. Probably won't return.

Front desk staff, wonderful. Breakfast was more than continental. Teena was very sweet. Room was comfortable and larger tv than most. Definitely would stay here again. Just a couple of blocks from Graceland.

Everything was great except they called us on the drive up to let us know our Suite that we booked wasn't available. We were compensated and put into lower quality room which was just a little small.

The paper in the bathroom was bad ,and very rough. And what was the extra $25 charge for!

We saw a few roaches one by the juice where breakfast was being served and one in our room. The are was really bad but thankfully we were able to park behind a secured gate.
I liked that the staff was very helpful. They gave me extra towels for my family and really made me feel welcomed

There was nothing that I really didn't like. Maybe you could keep the tea and coffee facility open during the day as some other Holiday Inn's do?
We have stayed here before and have never been disappointed. I am an Elvis fan and whenever I come to Memphis this is where I choose to stay, it is within walking distance of Graceland. The rooms are clean, there is a complimentary breakfast and a shuttle that will take you to Graceland.

The overpowering smell of bleach. The room was not serviced as expected for our 2 night stay. Shortage of cutlery at breakfast.

1 ply toilet paper, our room not being cleaned when requested and not being informed at check-in about the secured parking.
Location, guitar pool although it was freezing cold, great staff.
