Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Couldn't make hot water in room. There was always hot water downstairs. The bathroom bench was poorly installed, it was angled towards the floor, resulting in water all over the floor. As a result making shower time hampered. Staff was great about following up about issues but didn't always know fixes.
The breakfast choices were great. I didn't care for the egg selection (the potatoes or hashbrowns, whatever they were supposed to be, were terrible), but the yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, toast, fruit selections were great. Staff kept everything stocked or cleaned during breakfast time, Staff was great without seeming to be hovering. Excellent!

Not being able to have a late check out. Needed to leave by 12:00 :(
I liked the hotel through out my stay, very comfy,clean and The touch of class to turn on the lights in the room you could access with your key card. Pretty neat. Breakfast was nice. The staff Mark was very welcoming....

When parking on the side of the building, we were unable to open the door to center the building, so we had to walk around the building to the front entrance.
The facilities looked new and fresh. Loved the Dove soap and lotions in the bathroom, and the 100% cotton towels were amazing. The bed was so comfortable, and I appreciated the 2 types of pillows to choose from. And I was especially impressed with the window shades, which kept the room dark in the morning so much better than the black out curtains in other hotels

It was the first few days of tennis tournament at Indian Wells and we felt the rooms were expensive. Location was about 8 miles away from it.
Was good had a variatie of choices. The meat patties were not so inviting. Location was good restaurants and grocery stores not to far away.

The hotel itself was very beast and clean. However the pool deck area was dirty with cigarette butts, other debris and full garbage cans that hadn’t been emptied for many days.

The breakfast ok, but I wished they had more variety, like bacon, and scrambled eggs. The had two different types of omelets but I just wanted scrambled eggs.
Close to the freeway and the room was quiet. We wished we could of stayed longer.

Water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. Available TV channels was somewhat sparse. How could you not have PBS channels?
I liked the very updated and upscale feel of the hotel. I liked the Keurig coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was very good with a decent selection of items.

- Breakfast was ok for 1 night but would not eat there for a whole week as basic American breakfast is not my taste for a long period of time. But overall, everything was great during our stay. :-)
+ We stayed there for only 1 night within our roadtrip. Perfect location. Central and near from most of the activities. The Main Street of downtown Palm Springs, the Indian Canyons, Living Desert and highway between LA and Phoenix were just minutes away by car. + The guy at the reception was really friendly and helpful. He got us a baby crib as requested. + Room was very big and huge bathroom. Everything was Clean, modern with big comfortable bed. + Free parking lot with lot of available spaces. + Breakfast included was OK. + Pool that we could not try it because of the season. + Few restaurants/fast foods around the area.

The first room we were assigned (RN 125) has the pool equipment bldg just outside the room - maybe 4 ft away. Running equipment noise could be heard through the wall. I'm sure this would impact the ability to sleep in the room. The staff moved us to a room on the other side of the hall. Good thing the place wasn't full. They should take 123, 125, and 127 out of service and use the space for something else.
Facility was nice, roomy and clean. It is on a quiet street but close to restaurants - walking distance in good weather.. Parking is plentiful

If i have to be picky, I'd say add a refrigerator with a small freezer. But that's being picky! 🤣
This hotel was exceptionally clean! The room had a good amount of space, and all the amenities, including make-up removal wipes. The Hotel staff were friendly, professional, and very efficient! Mark was very very nice, and I thanked him for it. Most front counter staff have lost the art of customer service, and he showed me that there are still wonderful people out there doing a fantastic job.

Would love to have fans on tred mills or big fans that can be moved around.

Early check in option. We asked to check in at 2:00 and they said all rooms were full. How could that be if check out is at 11?
Loved the breakfast onsite. Saves time not having to look for a place to eat.

The HIE brand is a good choice but doesn’t surpass Hyatt Place. Hampton Inns can feel slightly higher end depending on location. The price at this HIE seemed high at $354. Loud HVAC. Thin walls(?) means neighboring showers are easily heard. Couple maintenance things in the room I was in: loose sink faucet and dangling cable wire holder on desk. Personally I’d prefer it if some rooms were no pets allowed.
Good location. Bright, clean, modern aesthetic. Professional staff. Good breakfast options and setting.
