Storage area for “kitchen” need more shelving for foods and drinks. We traveled for cheer competition. So lots of teenage girls, we hoped for a better pool. Parking was a nightmare.

We chose the top floor so we could have the best view but didn’t consider the fact that we might be waiting awhile for the elevator. This hotel has two elevators that run all day and stop at practically every floor (at least that was my experience anyway)… While it was clean, it needs some updates. The elevator smelled horrible and made some odd noises. It just sounded like it was struggling, especially when it was full of people. It would also be nice if hypoallergenic bedding and pillows were used. I’m allergic to down feathers. After the first night, I woke up with hives on my face. I acknowledge it’s my own fault for not checking the bedding but it also wasn’t disclosed anywhere.

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Virginia Beach sandwiched between the boardwalk and the shopping strip. Every room has a beautiful ocean view. We were able to check in early and were offered a choice of floors. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I was impressed by the variety of food and how well it tasted. The pool area was nice and having a gym available was a great bonus too. Can’t beat the breathtaking sunrise view though… All in all, we’d stay there again. It was affordable and gave you a lot for your money.

Well the first night there it was just my daughter and I laying in bed watching tv almost asleep and we got a phone call from the front desk saying they had a noise complaint coming from our room. It was jarring and really accusatory. In my opinion they should have had staff check prior to accusing. Additionally this was a Friday night at 930. We could hear doors opening and shutting near us and footsteps but nothing that would have prompted a noise complaint that early on a weekend night! Additionally, we split the room with friends the second night and we had two cars so one of us was left paying $35 for parking in a garage. I understand parking is limited but would be nice if you could partner with the city to find better solutions or make a discounted rate at local garages.

Breakfast was great, loved the location. Beds were comfortable and the lighting in the bathroom was fabulous.

Pool was small and people were really loud .

Staff, breakfast, free parking were all wonderful. Rooms were clean and had all we needed. Walking distance to many restaurants and fun places like the arcade, mini golf and I fly. Fun to watch the horses right out on the beach.

The parking lot in front of the location is small. It's not until you check in that you get the location of the 2 other parking lots, and those are very helpful.

The location is great, right on the boardwalk with a great view of the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The mildew and film on the shallow side of the pool. Excess hair in the pool. No hot tub but online said there was a pool and spa.

The room was good, but the pull out sofa bed needs replaced. Mattresses are made much better these days for that to have been the pullout mattress on that bed. It felt like the springs were the only thing we were sleeping on.

Great location, all rooms are ocean front. Breakfast was a plus, with plenty of options. Kids loved it. Kids loved the pool too. The shower was great and spacious.

The room had an unpleasant smell when walking into the room. The hair dryer didn't work

The bathroom I liked. A nice shower and mirror. We had a balcony that faced the ocean which was beautiful. The Christmas light display was up when we got there so that was cool.

We skipped using the pool because it looked a little dirty. Our room was also right next to the ice machine/elevators and it was pretty loud, but was easy to tune out.
