The shower head only worked in the small middle section and had no water pressure. The tub was super slippery, I almost fell each time I showered. The free breakfast didn’t have much of a variety. Our friends that had the same type of room at the same price had a microwave and we didn’t.

The king size bed was very comfortable. Great blackout curtains. The pool was nice, I like that it had a ramp for those who need it.

The breakfast could be better . The beds were a little hard for me and the rooms could use some TLC such as paint, upgrade and more lighting. The bathroom in our suite was OK although turning on the shower was a little hard .

The staff was very nice & friendly . The facility was clean on the outside, breakfast area and lobby even the public restroom they have along with the pool area and gym !

The breakfast experience was less than I expected. Standards were missed on day one— menu options were no surprise (for business class hotel fare) yet not up to par. Waffle maker was down for a refill with no attendants in sight, and the other options were mediocre. (Egg whites? Turkey sausage?— thanks but I’d rather pay more and have old-school options) The coffeemaker in the room (kcup) was inoperable—on multiple (4) attempts. The in-suite refrigerator worked…but constantly, no, incessantly ticked, like an old time clock keeping time—until it became unplugged. As for television— I detest directv so next time i’ll know better… The poor bloke sleeping 2 feet behind me ( adjacent room) had sleep apnea which of course the hotel can’t really help, unless you don’t block your guests together. (As a suggestion). The toilets were the turbo flush type, so everybody heard their neighbors flushing, as I’m sure mine did. The showerhead had options but I would describe the options as extremes and sloppy due to wear/age. Hotel weight rooms appeared to be some thing that most places aspired to replicate—ho hum! The bath detergents dispensers were fixed to the wall. (not daily refresh). Shampoo/conditioner/ body wash dispensers were a type that can lose its pump prime—and they did. Staff was eager to please though, and provided a supplemental bottle…which also did not pump the product. Call it simple , but Come on, man!!!! The dated door closers wake up the nearest 12 rooms when less-than-thoughtful guests let the door JAM to a stop. (“Why yes thank you I am awake now!”)

My 5 stars review is conditioned to this hotel category. Many people see a 5 star review for a Holiday In and they believe that they will have the same experience of someone staying at 5 star hotel like Carlton Ritz. That being said, this is a new building and everything is nice and clean. We have been told that the breakfast was a grab-and-go meal, but it turned out to be a seat down with hot food. It was appropriated, well presented, and there was more healthy options.

The breakfast was bad. The pancake machine and juice machine was out of order. There was one plate, no butter and very poor quality of food. The coffee was awful and they didn't have any good creamer.

Humid, dirty, the AC was spitting out dark pieces of what looked like parts of the filter or mold. The TV did not work, the Wi-Fi was pointless, and it smelled bad everywhere. Not even in just one area, every where just stunk. Different smells! Just smelly! Humid! Just very uncomfortable and expensive for absolutely no reason at all.

The suite was very spacious. But that’s it. Everything else was terrible.

Needs to be updated and a throughly cleaned in the rooms, nasty. Shower water was super restricted as well as the A/C unit and carpet was filthy.

Location was good easy to find, great variety for breakfast and well staffed.

The AC was not working in most of the hotel. Charge $45 for a dog to sleep in a crate in the room. outrageous. Will go to an actual pet friendly hotel next time.
