They are in the process of remodeling the motel. During the day many construction workers were operating on the first floor doing the remodeling. It was noisy.

when room service came by i told them we would be leaving for the day very shortly and he acted like he was gonna come back to my room but when we returned no one had came and touched it so we even had to go to the desk for fresh towels

Breakfast was sub-par for a Holiday Inn Express. I have always enjoyed the breakfasts at other Express hotels. Food was often cold, not replaced when low, or missing.

Much nicer hotels in the area for the same price. When spending over $100 per night I expect the best if they can offer. Breakfast was a bare minimum and since breakfast was included this too was a disappointment.

Upon check in, we had to ring to get someone to the desk. She was very hard to understand. As soon as I paid, she was gone. I had more questions about a luggage cart, but she was already in the back room. We then go to our hotel room. Every time we got on the elevator, we prayed that it wouldn’t break. It made so much noise we thought we were goners. The temperature was very uncomfortable on our floor. In our room, our AC was not very cool. It was set to 70, but we were sweating. It’s 100 degree days right now. The night was even uncomfortable in our room. We got two key cards and one didn’t work. Every time we would go by the front desk there was no one there. We could’ve called, but she was hard to understand and mumbled, so I didn’t bother. The shower curtain was too short for the tub so water would spray onto the floor. The vending machines didn’t work on our floor and were out of everything on the lobby floor. The pool was nice but very cloudy. Our receipt was slid under our door, along with another rooms! We were just unsatisfied with the professionalism and the simple perks.

Bed was comfortable but the edges had a hard rim you couldn't sit on. Cobwebs on the ceiling. Had to wait for 10 minutes or more to check in as the desk clerk had too many other duties. None of the staff was friendly. Too little parking. The adjoining hotel had parking in the back but if that was meant for it hotel it was unclear as there were no signs.

the property location is very limited. The town of Winnie is a place to stay between Pensacola & San Antonio … not a tourist destination.

The room had a sitting area for watching TV, a Keurig coffee maker, and TWO comfortable queen beds. the wonderful staff was very accommodating, especially in finding and mailing our list cell phone.

The fold out couch mattress is not sleepable. I don't know why this industry hasn't figured out a comfortable foam mattress for fold out couches.

Breakfast was excellent with a very wide variety of choices. Our room was very comfortable.
