Upon arrival I was greeted by a Miss Nancy . Check in was smooth and I told her my Husband & I were celebrating his 36th Birthday & our 1 year wedding Anniversary . We drove from Houston and just had got a bite to eat and wanted to relax before we hit the road in the morning . She then signed me up for rewards and issued to me 2 key cards . But when we got to our room the keys didn’t work . We tried multiple times for about 5-7 mins . My Husband went down stairs and told Miss Nancy and she sent him back up to try again . Meanwhile we have a room by the elevator so other guests were stopping and asking if everything was okay . My Husband came back up and tried again and once again he went down . This time he returned with Miss Nancy and she couldn’t get the door open . The light on the keypad kept turning red&green . She then proceeded to ask my Husband & I would we be interested in another room but it wouldn’t be a room with a whirl tub . I politely told her no . Now another 6-8 mins have passed by and she bluntly tells us she is not calling her supervisor because she is sick . By this time it was past 12 and it was my Husbands birthday . She then suggest that the battery might need to be changed and says this isn’t her job and this is a man’s job and went down to get batteries and a tool and gave it to my Husband for him to do manual labor on his birthday for a $211 room we just paid for . I was too upset to the point I wanted to leave and go to another hotel , but she ended up calling her supervisor anyways just to find out that we only needed 1 master key to get into the room and not 2 . She once again went downstairs and the same couple that checked on us going out came back with food to see us still in the hallway . That’s how long we waited to get into the room . She returns yet once again with one master key and tada the door opens . Now that we are in the room she called on my cellphone and her name came across the screen just to apologize .

I love the room , cleanliness of the hotel , complimentary breakfast and location .

This is our second time to stay here. It was just as nice this time around. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, but typical of these hotels. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

The bed was too soft, and the scrambled eggs were too wet. Other than that, we had a good stay.

The heart-shaped jacuzzi tub in the room thrilled my husband. The location was near two good coffee spots.

my whirlpool in my room wasn’t very clean. i had to clean it myself and ask the service ladies for cleaning supplies before i could even use it. the microwave was also a little dirty. bathroom needs some work.

The bottom of the bathroom door seemed to be rotting. There were flakes of rotted door debris all of the bathroom floor. Kind of grossed me out when I used the restroom the next morning.

The young woman who checked me in on the evening of 07/28. I was very tired. She was kind and sweet. The next morning, she was working in the diningroom. She kept the coffee karafes full and the room tidy. She was, again, kind and sweet. Her personality made me smile and helped me relax. The light that shown through her kept my spirits up for the next 11 hours of drive time. She told me her name, but I cannot remember it. Special, "Thank You" to her.

Minus my mix up with Bookings.com telling me I can RESERVE A 1BED KING ROOM THEN I GET THERE MIDNIGHT ALMOST 1AM TO FIND OUT THE SERVICE FOR MY RESERVATION WASN'T EXCEPTED THEN I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER $100 in Cash FOR Another ROOM SMDH THEN BOOKINGS.COM SERVICE take forever to follow back up with you over something a kid in highschool can do but they have people that don't know what they are doing or barely can speak English then have a attitude like WTF I'm just pissed I travel to much and bookings.com service is getting VERY SADDENING!!!

The spa was open the first night but when we went down the second night it was closed. I generally pick a hotel based on 3 things 1) breakfast 2)spa and 3) pool, plus in the winter I want this to be indoor and open.

The staff was excellent! Everything was clean and smelled good. My husband and I just moved to the Waco area and are currently living in our camper so this was a great chance to get a little room to spread out and to take a real shower!!
