Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom was clean but needed work. Shower curtain was falling down and too small. Wall shelf was peeling and really needed to be replaced.

Everything was great. My not Complaint is, they should leave one floor with children only. Some parents just don’t think of how rude it is when you slow your children run up and down the hall screaming at 8 am

elevator was very painful I was at 7th floor and to get at ground floor took me 15 minutes there was only one elevator was working

Two elevators, however, one was out of order! Not really an issue unless you were in a hurry!
Cleanliness, staff, breakfast was great! Convenient to shops, food, activities, and good price.

I did not like that. The property did not inform us that their elevators would be downed and as well, as they were renovating the hotel. In the mornings, it was extremely noisy and throughout the day. It was hard for my twins to be comfortable due to the construction. I believe if we were informed upfront, we could’ve made a decision that best suits our family.
I like that the property offers Continental breakfast with multiple options.

Drinking water was not provided in the room (Bottled Water).
Breakfast was mind-blowing and beyond expectations! Moreover location is great too as it is close to Franconia Metro Station which further connects to other cities very well. Used this facility to Visit Washington DC. Hotel staff was very friendly and their pick up and drop off VAN was ice on the cake.

Shower temp adjustment in my room was difficult to keep from too hot or too cold. The showerhead was at a bad angle, couldn't be adjusted without bending the fixture. It caused water to go outside of the tub area.

No microwave in the rooms and the one in the lobby hardly warms food it needs a long time to reheat.

Exercise room was too hot, no ability to regulate temperature.

For breakfast paper plates, cups, plastic forks, knifes, spoons. All disposable and "recycles" used for breakfast. These days with garbage awareness, this should not be the case anymore in my opinion and use washable materials for re use.
Beds very comfy, room was large enough. Bathrooms ok. Clean sheets. Hotel looks and is quite old, but it doesn't really show, bother or notice it. There was a sign that they where doing renovations during daytime when we stayed there for 1 night. Reception very friendly.. very good and enough parking. Shows nearby walking distance.

Rooms are a little dated, but while there, I noticed they are renovating, so I'm looking forward to seeing the upgrades.

3 of the floor including the one my room was on did not have ice in machine. Lucked up after the 4th try on a higher floor level. On the day of check out the bathtub handle broke off, water ran for some time before maintenance came, causing me to run late for my conference meeting
I enjoyed the breakfast variety and was fresh and clean. Location was off from main lobby and very spacious
