Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Little bit run down with smoke holes in the curtains.
Pool was good for the kids although freezing, pity the spa wasn’t working.

No bartender for the bar on Saturday. That’s was one reason we chose this place so we can hang out there and not have to go elsewhere so that was a bummer

The carpeting throughout the facility is old, buckled and very dirty. Including the rooms. Bring your slippers. Would have liked to see the bar stay open longer on a Saturday night.
Once the pool is closed for the night, it is very quiet. No druggies/drunks running up and down the halls screaming. The breakfast is very, very good. It's the same as everywhere else, but the quality and flavor is much better. The coffee is good! The beds are comfortable.

They advertise a complimentary shuttle to the airport. This is not the case. They did book a taxi for me but it was 15 dollars for the one mile drive up to the airport.

We were disappointed the pool wasn't heated and the jacuzzi wasn't opened. We made the best of it and enjoyed the weekend.
The staff was very nice at the counter and restaurant. The garden area is relaxing and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast and the lounge area. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Was provided a non smoking room and upon entering that room there was a strong smell of cigarette. Receptionist appeared annoyed when I requested a new room but I was able to switch into one that smelled a lot better.
There is easy access into the building and the rooms are pretty spacious.

For having an indoor pool they had a sky light open which had it freezing and the hot tub was down for maintenance. We were not told about the hot tub until we got there. Guests and staff were noisy when moving about in the morning.
Beds were comfy, shower was okay for size and water stayed hot during shower.

The hotel is a bit dated and could use replacement carpeting in the common areas, corridors, and rooms. Housekeeping is essentially by request only. They do come every 3rd day to change out linens and towels and to perform a basic clean-up. They have a small sign at the front desk when you check in but it is not very noticeable and they do not tell you about this policy when you check in.
The room was quite nice with up to date furnishings and a very comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good as well with a good selection of the basics (eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, yogurt, cereal, fruit, juices, etc).

Room was nice, but a little cramped for a King bed. Bathroom was nice and slightly updated, but the update left NO counter space for your bath essentials. Had a coffee maker, but no place to plug it in at its location ~ had to move it to the desk table to be able to plug in and use.
It was relatively close to my destination & easy to find. Room was clean & look like it had been slightly updated ~ bath vanity was modern design. I was able to find parking very close to my room location which helps me with mobility issues and heavy luggage.
