Smelled like sewage in our bathroom

The food was mediocre at best. Sweet tea is not served in the hotel. This is the south. That is a southern staple. For a hotel this size, there were 4 luggage carts. 2 were usually occupied by the cleaning staff and unavailable for use. We were in the second building and at the end of the hallway on our floor. None were available to be found the morning we checked out. The staff overall were great and very kind. Building 2 should be more clearly marked. When told to drive around the building to the blue awning and enter there, we were not told there were two blue awning and the first takes you back to the lobby. We got out again and entered the lobby only then to be told to go to one more blue awning. So clearly marking that would be great.

The only down side, the 3rd floor water pressure was not very strong. That's it, the only thing that did not meet expectation.

The staff are the best part of the stay here. Definitely get the grilled pork chop at the on-site resteraunt, amazing and absolutely hit the comfort food spot after an exceptionally long day.

The blackout curtains in the bedrooms do not close. Only the sheers on the windows would close. When I called the front desk to ask how to close the blackout curtains she said "they aren't meant to close". The room is very light without those curtains available to block light.

Breakfast and location r both great. The facilities and pool area are lovely.

Parking is a bit weird and they do not have doggy stations around the building that is holding dogs but does allow pets which was odd there wasn’t any.

Location, price and allowed animals and the rooms were clean and you didn’t hear everything going on outside.

The first room we were in was in the older tower. The AC didn’t work well and it had a strange odor. We were moved to the newly renovated tower and it was very nice.

I had problem with the air conditioner, room temp was 60 degreed. I realized about 2am, that I couldn't shut it off. So we froze that night. I called the front desk at 7:30am, and maintenance showed up w/I 10 min. I felt bad because my elderly mother who wt 103lbs was with me, and I worried about hypothermia. The hotel accommodated me, my mom is okay. I will suggest, if the guest shut the air off when leaving for the day, please advise housekeeping, if they turn the air on, please leave it on a comfortable temperature. 72, or 75. 60 is to low.

The front desk, engineer, housekeeping, and the dinning, was very nice.

A/C was loud. Not broken or in need of maintenance, just loud during wind down tv time and initially lying down to sleep but once I fell asleep everything was fine. It didn’t wake me and I slept well.

Bed was very comfortable and my room was well cleaned. King room wasn’t cramped at all, comfortable and spacious. Bar employees were extremely nice. Carolyn, I think was her name, took good care of me and my visiting guests. The gentleman that checked me in Saturday late afternoon was friendly and answered my questions. Most importantly, it was a quiet floor and I got a good nights sleep.
