I appreciated the staff- they were the best. I was a bit off-put by the extra fees. They might be normal- I don't travel much. But having to pay extra to park in the parking lot over night- that is ridiculous. Also the bathroom doors that just slide shut made my boys uncomfortable. What's wrong with doors that latch?

The listing clearly states that breakfast is included, however it doesn’t clarify that it’s only included for two people per room—so we had to pay an extra $30+ for the other guests.

My ground floor room was a bit noisy at times. I could hear people thumping around above me. Understaffed for breakfast- I was unable to eat breakfast there 2 out of the 3 days.

It was all good .

It was clean and nicely furnished. The room was large and very comfortable. The amenities—coffee, bottled water, etc. were very good. The restaurant was very was well. Staff was exceptional.

I did not like that we had to pay an additional $25 for parking upon arrival.

The staff were amazing! There were a lot of people checking in when we arrived and one of the computers was down, but the front desk staff did a great job of getting everyone checked in as quickly as possible, and were very friendly and helpful.

Check out time,I wanted to stay a little longer.

The rooms were very clean They had a bar the food was great the drinks were great and the staff was awesome. They kept fruit water in the front that was delicious.

The water pressure in the shower could have been a bit stronger. That's the only thing I can think of that wasn't spot on, and it's just my preference.

All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Such a lovely bunch of people. The breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs. The location was great, as it was central to everywhere I wanted to visit. As I was travelling alone I Uber'd everywhere, and nowhere (apart from MCI airport) was more than ten minutes from the hotel. The room was spacious, plenty of storage for clothes, etc. There was an iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. Also, Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and body lotion. Didn't use them as I had my own, but I'll know better next time. And there will be a next time. Great stay, thank you! Xxx.

The location is kind of what it is as it’s directly next to the highway but close the blinds and you won’t care.

The front desk staff was amazing. I wish I had caught the young lady’s name who checked us in and the assistant manager who allowed us the opportunity to check in a tad early so that we could get ready for the event we were in town for. They were superb though. Not just for letting us check in early but for every interaction along the way. Excellent!

The hotel didn't work with me when I got delayed in Atlanta due to cancelled flights, and missed my first night in KC, so I was stuck paying almost $200 and wasn't even there. I was sleeping on the floor in the Atlanta airport...

I didnt have breakfast but the food at the bar was decent.

No big deal, but the dining/bar area isn't sufficiently separated from the lobby/check-in area. Both areas were playing different music which was distracting and annoying. One of our two rooms was on the ground level, with a busy highway right outside. I slept fine, as did my kids who were up on the 3rd floor, but the traffic noise kept my wife awake all night. If you're a light sleeper you should ask for a room that's not on the north side of the hotel, or at least a few floors up.

The counter rep at check in was not the most pleasant. I booked thru booking.com and he tried telling me my card was declined even after showing the charges and the confirmation. After changing me another $100 deposit we got our room key. Extremely frustrating, especially after driving from Florida and not getting in until 3am.

Very clean and comfortable. Facility was quiet and easy to relax. The room had all essentials if anything was forgotten. The bartender "Mitch" was great. Had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.
