Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe hotel is a bit old. 1/2 elevator broke down during the stays. The keycard of the hotel didn't work 4 times so for the 4 days everyday i have to go up and down to change the keycard. The facility and the room are clean but old.
Location was great. The staff í polite and friendly. Have a little "shop" (instead of vending machine) which is very convenient to stay. Uber Eat also easy to find with parking right at front.

United States of AmericaThis hotel was really trashy for the price and location. The carpet and walls in the hallway were stained and chipped. One chair in the room was stained and the desk chair was torn in 20 different places.

United States of AmericaRooms, common areas and garage spaces felt really outdated and in need of rehabilitation. But I did realize the property was slated for demolition so likely the reason no improvements were being done. Two elevators were present, though only one was in operation. This created lots of passenger delays (so I actively used the stairwells!).
Property had a vintage feel as this is one of those circular tower constructions from the late '60s/early '70s. Location was a convenient walk to the concert event I was attending.

United KingdomDear Holiday Inn, I am so dissatisfied with the way I have been treated on my last day of a weeks stay! I asked to extend my checkout and was firmly told there was NO possibility of any minutes over 11. I have never really had this happen before in hundreds if not thousands of hotels around the world. Congratulations on making my stay at your hotel totally ruined by inflexible management that could not give me a little help when I needed it. Of course I will be sure to stay away from Holiday Inns if possible and recommend others do the same. I will be sure to post this on as many surveys as I will be asked complete regarding my stay.
Location was good to downtown.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast selection was very limited and stale. There was no place to eat downstairs. There was only one elevator working so with 20 floors it took a long time to get on the elevator and sometimes we had to pass because it was already full

United States of AmericaThe hotel hasn't been maintained well and was a little dirty outside, and the lobby had a sewage smell from time to time. The halls were dark, dingy, and had a very strong cleaner fragrance that triggered my asthma. Only one elevator worked and the only food available were chips, cookies, and coffee. The room felt humid and parking was more expensive than expected. The room itself was clean enough, and the TV didn't have most of the channels listed in the guide. I got the impression that this location isn't a high priority for company that owns it.
The location was great--close to restaurants downtown and easy to walk everywhere.
