The breakfast. Wasn’t a breakfast.

The breakfast was not a breakfast: cereal, oatmeal and a biscuit you had an option to put gravy on. Wasn’t what I expected for breakfast or anyone who choses hotels to stay at based off of if they offer breakfast or not.

The bed was not comfortable. The pull out bed looked very worn. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. Every other hotel I've ever been to had complimentary water bottles in the mini fridge, this location did not.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was set up nicely and appeared cozy at first. The room was well lit with big windows. Loved the body length mirror. There was coffee and a coffee maker.

The room was great but at breakfast there a was a giant brown bug walking across the counter by the cereal and juice a man and I notified an employee who picked the bug up and threw it.out the back door as she told it ''you aren't supposed to be out around the guest" . We didn't eat and checked out instead

There were a lot of Crickets for some reason. We were told there would be no pillows, but when we arrived at the room, there were pillows on the bed. There were no pillows or sheets for the sofa bed, but staff brought us sheets. No fitted sheets, only flats.

The door to the outside nearest our room was "out of order" and baricaded closed. This made parking hard or impossible to find because people from that area (like us) had to park near one of the other side doors. There was no designated smoking area and we walked through five or six smokers each time we left or entered the hotel. We had to walk a longer way than we like to and because it was soooo hot, this was uncomfortable. The entire place was a little "aged", and could use some sprucing up. The room was super cool and bedding was nice but the mattress was hard and made our arthritic joints hurt after staying a couple of nights.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful and A/C worked GREAT! We never made it to breakfast but it looked and smelled great. Lots of folks were there each morning.

There was no soap for the bathroom sink. You had to go to the shower and get some which was inconvenient. Why not install a pump soap dispenser mounted on the wall near the sink if you are conserving soap? I also found a tampon wrapper and some paper with notes written on it in the closet which should have been caught by the cleaning crew. (Not the biggest deal but then you wonder how well they actually cleaned the room)

The breakfast was pretty good. It was better than a lot of the hotel breakfast selections I have had in the past, especially the sausage gravy and biscuits. Everyone was friendly. They allowed us to get yogurt, bananas, etc. at 6:30 AM before they actually opened at 7:00 since we were in town for a dance competition and had to be there early. My husband said the coffee was delicious and he is very picky about coffee.

House cleaning was not good. Had some mix up in understanding of cleaning room. It wasn't done until the last of our stay.

Breakfast was very good. Probably the best we have had at any motel. Good variety and well prepared.

The location is very well located between both Universities alike. The staff were personable and professional, to say they were friendly. The design and decor were surprisingly luxe! I felt like I was at an Embassy Suites, and I paid half the price. We will stay here from now on when we come to Denton.

hotel had a smell when you walked in. not sure if it’s the breakfast smell that lingers all day. also narcotic smell was evident in one area from guests. I don’t think hotel was aware.

Room next to a side exit door and very loud. Toilet and sink separate and I don't like that. Pantry very sparse. We were wanting to just eat popcorn for dinner and watch a movie but they had very few snacks (no popcorn) for sale so we had to door dash. Not a deal breaker (I'll just be sure to bring my own next time) and I plan on staying there again because our daughter goes to UNT and this is very close and convenient and I liked it a lot more than a few other places we stayed.
