HVAC was not adjustable. Loud fan blowing constantly. TV was very awkward.

Location was fine. Staff was very nice. It was clean and safe. Parking was good. Not much else going for it. Coffee in room was adequate.

You could tell there were some sort of renovation going on at the hotel. The bathroom floor needed to be cleaned. It wasn’t nasty, just looked a little dusty.

When we arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk. We waited a few minutes then we said hello to see where the receptionist was. She came out and not even a hello, the first thing she said was “what’s the last name. We did greeted her but didn’t get anything back from her. Our room was on the third floor, it’s under renovation which is understandable. When we got to our room, there was hair on the bathroom floor, the room smelled moldy, and dusty, the carpet looked like it hasn’t been vacuumed. We opened the refrigerator to put a few bottles of water and juice in, it smelled like stale food. The freezer was filled up with water and inside was dirty. When we checked it was not plugged it. When it was time to take a shower, the water was settling in the tub. The water took a very long time to go down. The room was so dusty, it triggered off my allergies.

The location was perfect, it was only 10 minutes away from the event I was attending.

The room was a bit run down but it wasn’t bad for a holiday inn. Price was alright. 30 minutes from DC make it pricey but it looked like there were a lot of empty rooms. Felt like price gauging.

The front desk staff was very abrasive with another customer, yet I booked anyway. While they were not as rude to me, they were definitely intentionally deceptive!

Beat sleeping in the car or on the street! Bed was huge. Wet bar war convenient. Mood definitely conducive for relaxation.

Check your bill BEFORE you sign. The price I was quoted was not the price I paid. I did not have on my glasses and they would not correct it, because I signed it.

The room exceeded expectations. The facility was not impressive, but the room was clean, I had good quality bedding and towels. There was a refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. The tv was on and it was large. Given the exterior and price, I was impressed.

The parking was bad especially that my Daughter and my Daughter in law car was broken into and when they went to the front desk to complain about it the front person did not care and said that there was no security cameras on the property ..they did not even offer to call the police ..I think some other person's car was broken into and they also disregarded them as well. Also the breakfast was not included and you had to pay an extra 9.95 to eat there. Even though I will not have any reason to stay in that area again but if I had to I will not stay in that at The Holiday Inn Washington D.C. Greenbelt Maryland ever again.

even though The beds where comfy and the room was clean. It was good for what we needed.

Rooms have extremely thin walls to the point that you can pretty clearly hear your neighbor's conversation. Many of them overlook the circle drive and you can hear people coming and going all evening. Highly recommend earplugs/etc if you don't already pack them. Hotel itself and the room appliances and fixtures are somewhat dated, which we didn't mind because everything was clean. Breakfast was an additional charge and there was not much variety/the food was not good, especially for the price. We only paid for one breakfast and for the remaining days, we bought breakfast for much cheaper from Safeway and Starbucks. At one point, our room keys stopped working and we had to wait about fifteen minutes to get them fixed (other people had lined up with the same issue). We only had a short lunch break, so while it wasn't a difficult fix, it was inconvenient. This seemed to be a common issue others had throughout our stay. Finally, the wi-fi connection was pretty weak in our room. Overall: The hotel worked well for the purpose of our trip and the "negatives" of the building were outweighed by how excellent the staff and service were. Seriously, I hope this hotel is paying them well because they really are the selling point of staying here. Especially the housekeeping - it cannot be an easy task keeping the rooms and older appliances so clean! Would stay here again for convenience if we had another event at Crosswinds.

The front desk, cleaning, and maintenance staff really provided a great experience. The rooms and the hotel itself is dated and the appliances are older, but the room itself was spotless! Front desk was super helpful with all of our concerns and everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly and kind. Easy 1-minute walk to Martin's Crosswinds. There are some restaurants and a Safeway within a 15-minute walk. There are also a few parks a short walk or drive away. The hotel itself is pretty far away from metro stations and to access anything outside of Martins Crosswinds and the small strip mall area, you would probably need a car. Rooms had internal locks and a flip-out metal tab that functioned like a chain lock.

the rooms were old. our fridge and microwave were plugged into a power strip that couldn’t reach the outlet so it kept turning off. we had to rearrange the strip to keep it on. the tub water ran a steady drip at all times. they did offer to move our room, but we’d already unpacked and fixed the power strip so we elected to stay.
