Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOur room toilet was loud.
The room was nice and spacious and had a nice view of the tracks and the surroundings. The lady at the front desk was nice and very helpful. There's a free little coffee/tea bar in the basement along with fridges, some TVs and a game room.

United KingdomThe keyless room access didn’t work on arrival. We managed to get keys from the front desk - they worked for the first day and then not for the second: the staff couldn’t give us access to the room at first - and then they let us but couldn’t give us new keys:l. They said they would bring us new keys in 30 mins - it took 90 mins and 2 trips back down to reception. We didn’t get an option to opt out of the amenities fee - it said tea and coffee would be available in the lobby each day - it wasn’t. (I was told on departure it was on another area). Coverage at the desk is minimal - and not until 1400hrs on a weekend - so when we were leaving there was no one to give us access to the baggage storage room - so we had to lay externally. 2 bedroom apartment was fine - modern decor but be aware the second room isn’t a twin - it’s a bunk bed with very small space around the edge. A lot of money for the service you get
Great location - easy walking distance to amenities and downtown.

United States of AmericaManagement trying for online check-in which didn't work (apparently site was down) Then I had confusion with parking. There's a mandatory $50/day "amenities fee" I was there for 3 days and never learned what the amenities were (except that it included 4 (alcoholic) drinks/day, which I didn't want.) Over the course of the stay, I kept getting emails about the amenities -- promising free coffee (which I never saw) Apparently there's a game room in the basement and a big kitchen space, but not really sure how fooz ball and an un-used kitchen are supposed to warrant amenities fees? Plus, I emailed management to inquire about the fees (per the suggestion of one of these many unsolicited emails) and never heard back. That said, onsite staff really lovely. Unfortunately, very live sound (Not surprisingly, those folks who DO drink the 4 alcoholic beverages aren't too concerned about chatting in the hall at 4am. Plus, my room right up against the EL. It's a mixed bag -- the pros of the charm of decor, comfort of bed, friendliness of staff and seeming good price (without the fee) would have made the noise worth it. As is, the unresponsive management and confusion make it an overall negative
Staff is lovely. Location fairly convenient. Interesting decor/concept. Bed and bath both very comfortable/clean.

ThailandThe lack of customer support in being able to talk to someone and the 4 pm check in with 11 am check out. Too late for in and too early for out. Also, I do not have a smart phone and too much was dependent on using one at the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe smoke detector in our room was beeping bc the battery needed to be replaced. It was unreachable so we had to switch rooms - the new room was smaller and closer to the entrance so we were woken multiple times by noisy guests in the night.
The staff was excellent about helping us adapt to the property issues.

United States of AmericaThere are many unsavory characters in the area, I don't reccomended going outside after dark. Our room smelled like there has been a cat box in it for a long time, and none of the windows opened at all for any fresh air to air it out. The kids bunk beds were not made up, but bedding at the foot of the bed for them to make themselves, and no pillow cases so they just used the pillows provided with the zipper cases only (found this out when we were packing up to leave or I would have asked for pillowcases). I feel as if a long term tenants were in the room and they got moved out for our stay.
I liked the location, and most of the staff was extremely friendly. We didn't find out about the game room in the basement until the last night of our stay (front desk during check in was quite dismissive), the gal at the front desk Saturday night was very friendly and made sure our kids felt comfortable playing.

United States of AmericaThe contactless check in did not work at all and I tried it all day long to check in which made for a stressful start to my vacation. I called the front desk over a dozen times with no answer even though their phone recording said someone would be there. I even went as far as to send an email with no response. When we got to the hotel there was no one at the front desk and no one to let us in the hotel, I ended up follow a pizza guy in and waiting by the front desk for awhile before someone showed up. The girl at the front desk was nice but talked so fast I have no idea what the internet password was or how to get our free drinks. The drink bar area was closed and like so many others said we paid a $35 resort fee for drinks and amenities that we didn’t actually get. They also DO NOT have a parking lot. There is a lot next to the hotel that you can down load an app for a stay for 25$ a night.
This hotel was in a very convenient location and close to so many things down town. The train tracks are literally right outside your room window which I found pretty cool and it wasn’t loud like I would have thought.

United States of AmericaI’m sure it is a Covid thing but it basically feels like an unstaffed building full of guests with nothing but a key code. The cafe is closed and only one person who was there but no one after hours or on Sunday morning.
The building is very cool once you get in. We didn’t get the key code after doing the online checkin and it was challenging finding someone to respond at a phone number. Once we arrived a very nice woman was working there seemingly alone. She got things sorted out for us but there was a lot of waiting around because the key card on the room door was broken and she had to fix it.

United States of AmericaOur television didn’t work and there was not coffee available in the morning as advertised. Also I believe we were charged the daily fee for the drink amenities but we were only actually around to partake in them one day.
The location was great and the staff was very helpful. Our flights caused us to come in very early and depart very late, so they were wonderful about allowing us in early to be able to work from the lobby on day one, and then stored our bags for us after checkout so we could explore the city on the last day.

RussiaI am very disappointed because I was expecting a 335$ bill, but the hotel charged me 378$ and twice!!! I had to call the bank to cancel one, and this is the 1st time when it happens to me. I have been to 33 countries and this is the 1st time!!! Its the first time when I write a review because I feel like the fooled me. And Booking.com said that this is against their policy but they didn't do nothing to make a refund. And with the mandatory fee of almost 50$ a day for things I couldn't use: it was supposed to get 6 bottles/cans of water and soda, and the two nights I spent there they was run of bottled water and I don't drink soda. The second thing that you have a restaurant gift certificate for each night 25$, BUT you have to buy each certificate for 10$, and your bill has to be more than 50$ and there is not a lot of options near you, and if you are alone you won't spend 50$ in a restaurant for a meal (in my case). The city pass, yeah you can buy it for the same price at their website, you don't have to pay 50$ to get this opportunity.
The design. Filtered water, coffee and tea 24/7. The location a bit aside from the city center but still near the train station.
