The rooms are very simple. There is no elevator to the second floor. Very poor breakfast.

The room is large and comfortable. very clean Comfortable shower and hot water all the time. Room cleaning service is performed every day. There is soap, shampoo and everything you need. The location of the hotel is excellent! Convenient parking for a reasonable fee ($18 per day). The excellent hotel staff is something we have not met before. The reception staff helps with everything. With any question they always do their best to help. They also assist in parking the car if required. Above all works in the dining room - the amazing Patrishia who always smiles and works magic at the simple breakfast. Her ability to provide service under pressure of time and the number of diners is worthy of appreciation. Overall, the hotel, despite its simplicity, is worth the money.

Excellent location for visiting the city. Private parking is available, this is a big plus in Los Angeles. The rooms are a little old fashioned, but tidy and clean. the staff was extremely helpful in giving suggestions and meeting every need. The breakfast choice is small, but Patricia made excellent pancakes for us every day, making it special with her kindness.

No lifts - but we managed

The property is in an excellent location and nice spacious rooms. The beds are super comfy! We only managed breakfast one day as the jet lag hit hard. The breakfast is limited and very small dining space, great for a grab and go. It is an old building and the only down fall is no lifts.

Fridge wasn’t cold when I got there. Hot water suddenly shut off at the end of my shower and the water went cold.

Bring your own shampoo as the free bottle in the bath doesn’t suds up. They cut back on the breakfast options since I stayed last time. A couple small grab and go options would be nice. There is coffee, juice, toast, bagels and made to order mini waffles so it works.

As always the room was clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful (what more do you really need). Cute art deco style near tourist areas of Hollywood, Universal and Warner Bros. Studios. Close to Burbank airport so no need to brave LAX.

The room downstairs by the entrance - at night there was a sound of ventilation or another machine coming from above.

The lady who served guests at breakfast was very kind and had a positive attitude. There is no point scale to describe her commitment. The waffles for breakfast were delicious.

From the minute you arrive, you are made to feel welcome by the front staff. The rooms are large and clean and some with a fully equipped kitchen. The free breakfast is plentiful and partly served by the most warm and caring ladies. The location (especially for the price) is perfect.

We had several large lugagges and the access to reception from road was quite difficult. The hotel didn't have any ramp for direct access from the road, and we had to carry luggage through steps. However they had a ramp from parking facilties. Secondly, there is no noise insulation. We could hear noises from upper floors throughout the night, like dragging the luggages / chairs, kids running around, and even flushing water noises. Finally, the breakfast facilties which they had offered for free was chaos. It's a small dining area with few tables and chairs and the lady who was serving the breakfast was quite stressed due to the demand of several guests. She did a great job catering to the needs of the guests. However, due to limited seating and limited menu and due to chaotic lines, we skipped our breakfast for the next 3 days. Overall, the stay was great due to its location.

Our room had carpet and was a tad smelly. Once we turned the a/c on, i couldnt smell it anymore. But probably needs to be all hard floors.
