AC was clogged because started leaking so we turned off - master bedroom. I think they need to maintain appliances. And pools are runned down. They need to upgrade and make the pool funner. Kids say it’s boring.

We were quite a ways from a nice beach so we drove and hour everyday north of Kona.

There was so much space for my family which was so nice. The grounds were beautiful, our lanai overlooked 2 pools and the courts.

The condo was huge! It was perfect for our family to have two bedrooms and a full kitchen and living room. We loved having direct access to the pools and the nearby grocery stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Very good location, quiet area, great accommodation. Swimming pools and hot tubs are very conveniently located and well maintained. Barbeques worked every time. Staff provided additional supplies and towels in a timely fashion without hassle. Pickleball courts are great!

It rained the two days I was there. Can't you control the weather in Hawaii? Just kidding, all was great.

The tennis and Pickleball courts are right there. Good size room.

You were not allowed to hang towels/swim suits on the patios outdoors so we had to hang everything on kitchen chairs and door knobs to dry, since the bathrooms didn't have hooks or towel bars. I don't know what other people do. Seems weird not to have a clothes line or drying rack outside for wet gear at the beach.

The front desk staff were always helpful, when checking out beach gear or board games. They really exceeded our expectations when they allowed us to store luggage after check-out and shower before a red-eye. That was unexpectedly generous and made such a difference in elevating our overall stay at Holua Resort. Overall we were very happy with the resort. The parking garage was a bit of a walk from the villas but our 2 bedroom unit was incredibly spacious. We liked having several different pools/hot tubs within a short distance from our unit. We didn't use the kitchen for a lot of cooking, mostly heating up prepared food or for simple breakfast and lunches to go. Within 5 minutes is a convenience store and several reasonable-priced casual restaurants, which were great for dinner. HAving a washer & dryer in the room was very helpful too. There are over 12 new pickleball courts at the Holua Resort that were very popular. We did not use them because we spent most of our time exploring the different beaches on the Big Island and snorkeling but it did seem like a big draw for other visitors. It was very quiet and relaxing on the property.

The sound proofing between properties could be a little better.

We had a 2 story townhouse. The property was amazing, so big. The facilities were exceptional and staff very friendly. The beds are so comfortable.

Check-in was at 4 and room wasn't ready until 5. Kitchen was dated but the resort was in the process of updating the kitchens, so that should improve.

The unit had two bedrooms and a spacious family/dining/kitchen area. Lots of pickleball courts, and close to a harbor to pick up excursions from. Beds were comfortable and each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Lovely landscaping throughout the property.

We were fortunate enough to be given an earlier check-in, which we appreciated travelling with two toddlers! The apartment was so much bigger than depicted in the photos, it was great to have so much space. The apartment was clean and functional. We stayed near one of the pools, great access and clean. Everyone respected the noise restriction hours. We were fortunate to be located near the carpark. Gardens are immaculate and staff were very friendly.

Our condo was a tad far from parking, which was difficult for my older parents, and we had stairs to get up to our building, which I didn’t realize. Wouldn’t have been a problem if I wasn’t with people with limited mobility.

Parts of the facilities looked a little rundown.

The tennis and pickleball courts were wonderful. The room and kitchen were great. The exterior of the facilities seemed a little rundown and seemed to need some upgrades. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to the Big Island.

Only tht the parking is a little far and we can't park in front of our room like how we are used to at other condos. But thts about it.

The bed so comfy. They put us in a room where we could see the pool. It was so convenient. Perfect for the kids . they loved it n cant wait to go back again. I need to find out what pillows they used. Bcos its the comfiest ones I ever laid my head on . I'm back home bow n neeed to find me those pillows.

You have to park away from your condo in a garage so you need to call the office for staff member to come get you and bring you back to your condo every time you want to leave. They are pretty quick though. Hot tubs jets aren’t good at all.

Well the cupboards are starting to show their age, they stick shut at times. And all the water features were broken around the property, so that of course was an eyesore. The staff hadn't as much to do, so they would congregate near my patio and swear alot, which was not super relaxing.
