We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

IcelandWould have liked a bit bigger facility during breakfast, but it was never too crowded.
It's in a fairly good spot, short distance to public transport and to a nice shopping area with good for value stores. I liked the easiness and calmness in the hotel and the area around the hotel. I felt I was visiting the "real" Boston in this location and still just minutes from the buzzing downtown.

This hotel is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in! The staff were extremely nice and answered any question we had. The workout facility is excellent.

United KingdomLadies came to clean at around 11am. Asked them to come back in an hour as we were still getting ready but never did. Had to go to reception and get our own towels as the ones we had were left on the floor to be taken and washed. Not great having to come in at night either and start making the bed.
Brilliant location and room facilities were fantastic. Breakfast good too, with complimentary tea or coffee at any time during the day. Loved having the added touches of a kitchenette and living space.

United States of AmericaThe parking was a little further than I would have liked it to be and parking was an extra charge. When I went to check out the new staff that was at the front this were unprofessional, I was standing there after they saw me walk over and they didn't acknowledged until I said " can i check out."
We arrived late after attending an event, the staff at the front desk was very nice. The room was very clean and bigger than i expected. In the morning my daughter and I went down to get breakfast for the family, it was very organized and clean. They had many options.

United States of AmericaThe only issue I had was a fire alarm that went off early in the morning, Saturday 1/27. Woke me and my sister up in confusion. Took us a min to process what was happening before we could throw something on and head out. No sooner than we walked into the hall, it stopped. We were never told as to why it went off, nor were we offered to have our bill discounted for being awakened in the early hours. Especially after i requested late check out the night before so we can sleep in. Well, let's just say neither of us went back to sleep after. So that kinda ruined the end of a great experience.
I've come many times over the years. It's my favorite hotel in Boston. Full kitchen and spacious rooms. Staff is always friendly and helpful. There are so many places to go around us. I always feel very comfortable on my stays here and highly recommend.

United States of America- area is not safe (many homeless people), we used Uber every day because of that, hotel keeps entrance doors closed for this reason afaik - room was new, however AC was old and very loud, room had strong old carpet smell - breakfasts were not great (batter for pancakes was sour, hot water smelled bad and could not be used for beverages) - staff at reception was not friendly, however resolved they fulfilled all our the requests
