Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lots of unhoused people around. The chaos of that and their things everywhere did interrupt my energy vibe.

The breakfast could have been better. I was very uncomfortable with the location. Although this isn’t the hotel’s problem, The amount home homeless people near the hotel was very unsettling. To be honest it’s the whole downtown area, doesn’t make me want to come back to this area and definitely will not be bring my kids.
Love that the hotel was clean! Beds were comfy and staff was friendly.

Elevator boarded up inside & seemed a little unsteady

The free breakfast is a pass. I would rather just have a great cup of free coffee. The food is not good and the coffee is terrible. I am sorry to be negative but I couldn’t drink it.
Room was great and the amenities were thoughtful: kitchen in room, laundry on site, pool etc. Location is great! Staff at desk was very helpful.

Walls a bit thin. Could hear noise from next door
Breakfast was great. Not the usual waffles and cereal. Several egg choices, muffins, etc. Nice to have small kitchen in room... with dishwasher even!

Great breakfast. Very easy. The location is very good and accessible to downtown. We went to Eugene for a Ducks game. This hotel worked perfectly.

Nice hotel in a central location in downtown Eugene. Rooms are spacious and clean, with fridge and microwave. Pool and gym are fine - I used both. Restaurants and small grocery store right around hotel. Downstairs seating area is comfortable and spacious and could use a bit of cleaning.

Super comfortable bed, great sheets. Really good heating/cooling system that actually let us set it for quite cool (64) during the night, which is sometimes not possible in some hotel rooms.

No fresh fruit or gluten free options. Bacon or sausage might have been nice also.
The location of the breakfast was nice, spread out and not a lot of getting underfoot of other hungry people. I would have liked to see some fresh fruit and some gluten free options. The staff kept the area clean and well stocked.

There was hair stuck to the shower wall that did not belong to my family. There was a kids sponge (one of the ones in the tablets that you put in water and it grows) in the closet on the floor, there was stuff (dirt?) In the bathroom sink. The shower soap dispenser was empty. There were only two units of liquid coffee creamer. Only one was regular the other hazelnut. More creamer would be helpful for those who like their coffee light brown. One pillow had a large yellow stain on the pillow protector. Which perhaps it's just a stain, but I would consider replacing it.
The staff was friendly, the pool was well heated. The room was mostly clean. Shampoo and conditioner were provided. It had a full refrigerator and microwave with a small coffee machine. There were plates, cups, bowls and silverware. They also provided 1 to go coffee cup. Beds were comfortable and adequate pillows were supplied.

Very IKEA-like but very functional and clean. Not really any charm but great stop for one night.
Nice large room. Convenient in and out with fast elevators. Pet friendly. Comfortable beds. Walkable neighborhood close to shops and eateries. Beautiful flowers everywhere on streets.

The room had some issues namely in the bathroom seemed like it needed some repairs. Shower door not working quite properly as well the fan didn't work in her room

Wifi didn’t work. We pulled in late, & I didn’t want to try & fix it then. The front desk gave me an alternative password in the morning. It appears Hilton wants you to sign up for emails/ads in order to qualify for free Wifi. Frustrating.
The room was well-appointed, an accommodating kitchenette, and the shower was good. The beds were really comfortable and the black out blinds were great. They had a great breakfast with multiple hearty options.
