Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom only cleaned every other day. It was spring break in the USA which we didn’t realise existed till we went there. The hotel was full of Uni students creating mayhem. Impossible to get a chair or lounger at the pool area.
It was a lot bigger than we thought it would be and was very comfortable. The bed was nice and big and the bedding was if good quality, giving us a good nights sleep.

United States of AmericaBreakfast and the elevator were a bit crowded. The sofa that we used as a bed wasn't comfortable.
Our visit was very short. We arrived very late in the middle of the night. There was someone at the front desk that checked us in and helped with all our requests. Breakfast was nice and the staff was helpful.

CanadaThe staff are a credit to this hotel. They are kind and pleasant and looked after us very well. We had a large, comfortable room on the top floor away from the hubbub. The hotel has a great gym and laundry facilities. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The breakfast which was included offered a variety of hot dishes and fruit. The eating area was kept spotless by the staff. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Riverwalk and Los Olas shopping area. We highly recommend this hotel. The staff members are excellent, the rooms are spacious, and facilities are kept clean and neat.

United States of AmericaWe didn't really spend enough time to say - didn't get to enjoy the pool or the size of our room, but we didn't run into any issues.
We had a very difficult day of travel, and were able to check in when we arrived close to 2 am, sleep comfortably, and have a decent breakfast in the morning. The waffle station had a long line but worked well.

United KingdomThe area is very shady. We love the Home2 and Tru brand and the hotel itself was lovely... but we wouldn't stay here again until the area is regenerated (seems like that is happening). The area just behind the hotel has a bus station and we were not comfortable walking through it with kids.
The hotel itself is great. There is no segregation of Tru and Home2, which is nice - the facilities are open to all. The lobby is spacious with loads of seating and a pool table. The breakfast was good and the staff in there were really cheerful. The food was OK and there was plenty of choice. There was complimentary tea and coffee available all day and all night. The rooms were a great size for the four of us (two adults and two children). Its a nice touch to be able to log into your own Netflix on the TV. The wireless is fast and free and the small kitchen was very useful (it would be good if they give you extra dishwasher detergent when they cleaned the room). The room was cleaned on one of the days (I think it was after the second night). The pool was open from 8am and there were plenty of towels available there. There was also a Laundromat which we used without a hitch (but you need your own detergent).
