Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaParking was squirrelly. Had to pay separately and on an app. Overflow parking was confusing and across the street behind a building somewhere. Desk people were dismissive of our confusion because the location was obvious to them….
Great location. Walked to many downtown attractions Don’t miss East Market District! It’s the opposite direction from downtown and had awesome food and beverage options!

South AfricaThe inspection certificates displayed in the elevators, were both outdated. After the cleaning of the rooms, it was observed that there is a trail of trash (collected from the rooms?) left strewn in the corridors.
Breakfast was basic & fresh. Dining Room was part of the Reception area, and was very neat. The gym had all the required equipment, a swimming pool, and laundry facilities.

United States of AmericaThis may seem silly to some people, but the extra lock on the door was missing, so I felt a little uneasy sleeping. Also, the big lamp in the room didn't work, so the lighting was a little dim. When booking it said free parking however when you arrive you have to pay for parking. The on-site lot is very small, and the overflow lot is across the street.
The staff was friendly The room was clean The pool and pool area were clean The breakfast was very good

United States of AmericaBreakfast was minimal. One of the female staff in the kitchen was extremely loud and telling off another employee. Could be heard throughout the entire lobby. Parking was also $20 a night.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast options very not really up to snuff. And like all Louisville hotels, the parking situation is either hit & miss or very expensive.

United States of AmericaMore work oriented staff. Spent all 4 mornings in the lobby for breakfast. Heard lots of complaining from the help about “how busy it was”. There were not enough plates or bowls for the food. The housekeeper didn’t know English (or pretended not to understand) more towels, wash cloths, and toilet paper. I asked for more toilet paper and was given a hand towel. I called down to the desk (2nd shift) for a blanket for the pull out couch, called a 2nd time; even went down to the desk- was told he had to get it from the housekeeping closet…I stayed up until 11pm and we didn’t get a blanket until the next night (after I called again). I called the front desk (1st shift) for a “bathroom refresh” as stated on the bathroom mirror sticker- he told me that “it probably wouldn’t be done today and if you see a a housekeeper ask her for the towels/washcloths”. Staff seemed more involved in socializing or on the own personal cell phones.
I liked that there was free breakfast and coffee and indoor pool. The rooms had a small kitchenette.

United States of AmericaIf I pay a good amount to stay in a hotel room, I don't expect to have to pay for parking. I was very disappointed having to pay $16 to park somewhere I already paid to stay at. I was told I could park on the street, but there weren't any available. I've never had to pay for parking in all the hotels I've stayed with.
The breakfast was very good and above other places I've stayed. The room was clean and the pool was also very nice. There was plenty of pillows in the room too!

United States of AmericaOne of the staff took smoke breaks just outside the breakfast area, so every time they came back in a cloud of cigarette smoke followed them in. I suggest asking staff to smoke out back in the parking lot or at least 20 feet from the building.
