Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I so a dog popped at the hole way. I'm sorry I wish there is no dog. I don't have anything against animals but it's just that I feel uncomfortable with the bed and how they do it. I don't know if there is certain floor or rooms with pets.
The room is bigger than what I expected.

The carpet in the room needs to be shampooed.

The view from our room was someone's personal garage/backyard area. We kept the blinds/shades closed the entire time.
Our check-in was smooth, quick and welcoming. Our room was clean, stocked and ready upon arrival.

The cleanliness of the room was a little disappointing. I'm glad we brought our own cleaning supplies. Whoever cleaned the room did not do a good job at all. It seemed as if the person might have been in a rush to finish the room. They left behind a previous guess washcloth on the floor next to the skin. The bedding was not put on correctly. The sheets were put on incorrectly altogether.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The bathroom shower had pink and black mold in it. Beds could of been softer and pillows, pool could of been warmer. It would’ve been nice to have normal cable or the apps worked in the tv, had to use my Xbox apps. Also the tv service should of been provided free, if I hadn’t had Netflix then I wouldn’t of had tv to watch for a week, my partner was working as I was just relaxing in hotel for the week.
Nice large room with nice large tv, liked having the draws and closet and the cute small kitchen felt like home, also loved having a normal on the wall thermostat, liked the large included breakfast. Internet was great. It was nice having the option to work out and use a pool. Staff was wonderful.

Somethings didn’t work such as the bathroom door to kitchen area didn’t lock or close all the way. Never reported it because wasn’t a big issue for us. Sink was clogged but someone came to fix that when reported.
All staff was great and very friendly making the stay extra special.

The stay was great, however, I went to the front desk and requested more wash clothes from Hallie and we never received them. After 2 hours of waiting, I asked to delete my request because I was checking out at that point. In the future, I will bring my own wash clothes.
The staff there was not able to handle a large crowd. There were periods of time where there were no dishes available or utensils. Maybe investing in paper goods vs waiting for dishes to run in the dishwasher would be beneficial.

The best Belgian waffle maker was not working correctly. The toaster was not working correctly. They just didn’t seem to have their act together I just could not understand why.

The water pressure was miserably weak. There was water all over the bathroom vanity when we checked in. It didn't turn out to be a leak but not sure what happened. The coffee maker wasn't working and looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time.
Location was perfect for us. Close to the airport and Costco. Although we didn't really use it, the kitchenette was nice.

Offered breakfast, but did not provide enough for all guests. We went at different times and well in advance of ending time and there just wasn’t enough food. Breakfast should be extended to 10:30 and provide enough for all guests. The hotel is well aware of how many guests are visiting so should be prepared to accommodate all.

The problem wasn't that they didn't grant me rooms side to side...the problem was that I didn't need the 2nd room due to my Brother's flight being canceled. We were visiting our ill Mother. The Hotel said they wouldn't charge me for the 2nd room and that they would remove it. They shouldn't have said that if it wasn't possible. I sent an email to you, Booking, in seeking a refund for that room but NO answer. I've been a loyal customer with Booking internationally & Locally for the past 7-8 years or more. I know longer want to use you company if you don't have any refund clauses for emergency changes. The Hotel probably kept my money as well as still rent that room to another person.
The hotel was decent and the really friendly.
