Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our toilet didn’t work and the room transition wasn’t smooth at all. The floors were dirty by the elevator and in the breakfast area. Very sticky and visibly dirty.
We loved the pool! The rooms were a nice set up and comfortable. The staff was great!

The breakfast was poor. Many items were missing and not refilled. Yje Gym was not available due to ongoing renovations

I wish that there was a real door for the bathroom. Our bathroom was not stocked with the body wash/shampoo but I always bring my own.
It was very close to the concert that we were attending. It was also very close to some nice restaurants.

The only thing that we didn't like was the pool was down the entire time we were there!! (Jul 1-6) Due to medical issues, the indoor pool was the #1 reason we originally chose this hotel. This was really disappointing for the whole family
Your front desk staff member, (Ms. Kim), was hands down the BEST!!! We travel quite a bit and haven't come across anyone with her willingness, tack, and customer service skills in quite a while. We will definitely stay at this location on our next trip to Tuscaloosa due to her kindness. *My grandson went as far to say that Ms. Kim was the friendliest person he met in AL... He's only 12yrs old.

The only complaint was that the pool closed for maintenance however, they did provide an alternative to another property 1 block down that they owned and the pool was open.
The lobby was well thought out, the gym facilities were excellent and the atmosphere when you first walked in was exceptional. The aroma that was throughout was so pleasing, honestly, I immediately knew it was a clean property.

Our bathroom in 223 was a little worn out and the light above the sink did not work.
Staff was very friendly. Everything was very clean. The breakfast had a good selection and was quick and easy.

Pillows were uncomfortable, but I'm a pillow snob and usually bring my own.

The pool was closed which was disappointing for my grandson. Also the breakfast could have provided a bigger variety, they appeared to be out of several things.
Excellent service, room was exceptionally comfortable at everything you could possibly need in the room.

Barn doors for bathroom were not private and awkward for others in the room. Had to hang sheet over door. Sheets on the bed were microfiber and hot.
Rooms were nice, especially the kitchenettes. Liked the privacy curtain.

trash can in the room was full of trash like it was forgotten to be check. The bathroom door didn’t work well and made noise, and there was no coffee maker in the room

our room was really hot wouldn’t cool off . there was a part of the wall missing and you could see rocks and Sheetrock beneath it . Floor was really sticky on the elevator and in the lobby . but these are minor things really .

The lobby is under construction and the pool is closed for construction. The fabric on the headboard in the room was worn to the point the red was no longer red in one large spot. It was black. None of these are deal breakers. We enjoyed our stay and your hotel. More of a principle thing if you advertise a pool, you should have a pool or at least inform guest at booking that these amenities are closed.
Like the set up, had plenty of room for me and my son.
