Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaDrinking water was only complimentary to Hilton members. I don’t know if this is typical from 3-star hotels, but drinking water is a basic necessity.
The rooms were clean.

United KingdomHotel was a bit far from Boston centre but taxis were available. Visited Quincy Market with its various food stalls. I ended up with food poisoning from eating Chinese fried rice. ( AVOID) It ruined the last 2 days of my holiday. Apart from that it was well worth a visit. Did a guided tour of Salem which was very informative.
Went to watch the Marathon which was brilliant. The day was warm and sunny and everyone was in a happy party mood. We also took in a trip to see The red sox game. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly

CanadaThe front staff were very curt, not welcoming except for one gentleman who was warm and did not make us feel that we were intruding. As we were there during the Boston marathon there should have been a shuttle (at a fee) to bring the runners in the morning to the site
Breakfast surpassed our expectations . We had 3 days of breakfast and the menu was different each day. Healthy choices, many fresh fruit. The beer station is a good idea but not if you have to re-activate your beer card every day. We had a beer credit at the end of our stay that should have been credited on our final bill

United States of AmericaIndoor pool was a bit small for size of hotel. It was cramped with families. $60/night for parking is absurd and you just to have to deal with it, which isn’t great.

United States of AmericaThe only bad thing for me, it's the fact they didn't have free parking, and if you have to use their parking the cost for the night is a little too high. Otherwise everything else was wonderful.
I went last month for my birthday, and it was amazing. The hotel was clean, rooms was great we had a nice view, beds were comfortable. Very friendly staff especially "Marvin" the afternoon manager he was awesome with a lovely personality ,and extremely professional. Their food is good, my kids had a blast. I will highly recommend.

United States of AmericaI didn’t like how I booked the hotel through a 3rd party app. The 3rd party app informed me I can request for a waiver if approved by the hotel. I would understand if the manager said due to policies, we cant accept the waiver, but instead the manager acted confused and said he’s never heard of a waiver before and that I have no other option. Be a man and tell me you just don’t want to accept the waiver request rather saying you’ve never heard of it. That shows hunger for profit and not customer satisfaction. I’ll never come back here again because of this.

United KingdomOnly minus is that it's a bit stuck out from public transport to get into Boston city center but I walked in quite comfortably and can get a cab for a reasonable price. Easy to get to from the Airport.
Really enjoyed having one of the suites here - very comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed being able to cook and the swimming pool (although small) was lovely as well as the gym. Great to relax and unwind in the evenings and the staff were all friendly and accomodating.

SpainThe breakfast was very poor. Dry scrambled eggs, greasy sausage slices, diy waffles. All in paper plates and plastic cutlery. But what stood out the most was the staff. Very unhelpful and unpleasant. We were attended by Natalia upon arrival and she could not crack a smile. We asked her to help us ring a shop in which we had left our bag with all our passports (rather important as we were flying the next day) and she initially refused telling us it was pointless. We had to insist as we were desperate and she only rolled her eyes and eventually proceeded while taking under her breath. We had 12 cases/bags plus about 15 shopping bags to get up to our rooms. We were two mums with 3 kids…asked for help (of course willing to pay a big tip) but we were to do it ourselves. Reception also kindly put our rooms on different floors which was not very convenient with the kids etc. only one lady at reception when we checked out was nice. She spoke Spanish but o didn’t get her name.
The rooms were beautiful. Very comfortable beds, good size kitchen. The location is easily accessible by car. Close to the airport too.
