Honestly, the only thing I can say was the drains in the bathroom sink and tub were a bit slow.....but literally that was the only negative.

We stayed for two nights to prepare for a family wedding. The first night I stayed with a friend and we went to Grounds for Sculpture and Rat's Restaurant and that did not disappoint. The suite was just the right size to entertain my friend and have wine and cheese etc. The beds were super comfy and having a seperate living space with kitchenette was fabulous!

That the pool was closed and there weren’t more gluten free options for breakfast. Celiac disease isn’t easy to travel with, was hoping to have good snack and food options. Also, there wasn’t any water in the marketplace area to buy. My room had a broken glass in the dishwasher prior to us being in there and it was never cleaned out. Called down once we saw it to make sure we wouldn’t be charged for something we did not have anything to do with as well as to have it cleaned out for future guests. We travel with plastic cups, plates, utensils and napkins always so we never need to worry about dishes being available. They said they would send someone up to clean out the dishwasher and broken glass but never did. Also requested more towels and never received any, but we still reused our same wet ones. Only an issue seeing as how we shower twice a day. A dry towel is always easier to have after each shower but we still made due and didn’t complain. We always find a way and knew the hotel was busy and didn’t want to bother them more then once.

Greeting was friendly and warm, check in was super easy and friendly. Entering the room you new it was clean by the sticker placed on the wall and the door. Once you open the door the sticker rips so you know you are entering a clean room. The room size was nice and the decor wasn’t too loud or overwhelming. We had an issue with the AC not working. I called down and reception was overly friendly and accommodating. They even upgraded us for free to a two bedroom suite (we had paid for a one bedroom) and it was free of any additional charges. Due to room availability or lack there of because of how popular the booked they were, it was our same room or this one as the only available options. Usually hotels look to just fix a problem, no matter how much they inconvenience guests because it’s all about the money. However, this hotel was all about customer service and pleasing as well as exceeding expectations to guests. They didn’t have to offer an upgrade, but knowing they were looking for complete customer satisfaction and to show that a mishap on there end (even tho it wasn’t due to personal fault) they still go above and beyond!! I immediately called family and friends and sent videos and photos. I told them all to book this hotel should they find themselves in there area ever. For these reasons alone I now have already looked into homewood suites in other states for future stays. Thank you for making our trip and my sons 13th birthday over the top extra special!!!! And from a single parent traveling with three children, 2 older and one young... from a mother who works very hard for every dollar I have and this being our first time on vacation in two years you really made this time spent that much extra special for all of us!!! Plus, being free the and available, basketball, miniature golf on the property, bag toss, tables, fire pits and beautifully hung lights made the kids mornings and coming back to relax that much more fun and carefree from morning till night.

Staff was abrupt and not interested in obtaining answers they didn’t know. We asked 3 questions over the course of our stay and the staff was impatient that we bothered them. Gentleman at check in 6/7 was the only courteous staff we met

the room was dingy-the pillows were old. The deadlock on the door didn’t work. the lock to the bedroom did not work. the linens on the bed were stained. overall will never stay again.
