Our rooms weren't ready when we got there to check in. The manager took care of it and we got settled in. But the front desk attendant could have had some better customer service professionalism. They were very frustrated at the computer and were openly complaining about the previous shift workers.

The exhaust fan did not work at all in the bathroom. The food, the eggs were microwaved already packaged salty terrible texture. Orange juice was bitter. Brown and serve, I mean microwave and serve sausage,The food was not good. I expected more from Homewood suites

Our room smelled like someone smoked in there, they moved us to another room and the smell was worse. The dishes, stove and kitchen was dirty. We were booked in for 5 nights, so I had to clean the kitchen so it was livable.

The room was extremely cold.2 days of living as an eskimo wasn't what I signed up for. I called the help desk and I felt dismissed, all she said was no maintenance was available at the property and they were going to find ne a space heater. I waited and no one showed up even though I was concerned as to how many more people would be using space heaters in their rooms?That would be a disaster in the making, glad no one brought any but also wondering if they provide space heaters.

The kitchen staff were so friendly, I think her name was miss Bernice??She said she's 61yrs but extremely nice especially with my son 💙

There is a smell of Marijuana all throughout the halls of this hotel. Smoking and vaping is not allowed but smoking pot seems to be ok not be enforced and the smell is strong and constant. My air conditioner glitched the whole 3 days we were there. It worked sometimes and sometimes it would get very hot in our room. The cleaning crew did not vacuum our room and there were chunks of dirt in the carpet and we had no toilet paper and some other things were not stocked so we had to ask for items. Unfortunately for breakfast there were only eggs sausage waffles and oatmeal for hot foods. There were also muffins and such. This could be a very nice hotel but it has some issues to work on.

The staff were friendly. In particular Nicki. She was nice and always willing to help. She went out of her way to do the very best she could. She is above and beyond.I would also say that Columbus is the friendliest city I have ever visited.

The only complaint I have is that the breakfast wasn’t very good. The eggs were bland. The only thing with flavor was the potatoes.

I loved the room set up. We had a 2 Queen bed and sofa bed 2-room suite. We especially loved the kitchenette. Our family also enjoyed the pool.

The room was very dirty and unclean when we got there. There was dust and food residue everywhere. The common area in our room was a lot smaller than expected and when we went to use the pull out couch, it was absolutely filthy. There was something black all over it, not sure if it was mold or what. Therefore 1 person in our group was out of a bed. I paid for a room that was supposed to accommodate 6-8 people and that's not what we got. We called down to the office to see if we could get a cot to use since the couch bed was filthy and they said they didn't have any. I won't be going back.

Breakfast should be served later than 9am, so those who travel in late at night and have to sleep in the next morning can still eat breakfast when they wake up. Used to be that hotels had breakfast until at least 10:30, because not everyone is an early riser, especially if out late the night before exploring all the city has to offer! We also had a few issues during our stay. Our first one was with the heat totally going out halfway thru our stay. There wasn't a maintenance guy available to fix it. So after a long day of exploring the city, we come back to find the room FREEZING! But the front desk staff was very accommodating about this, and luckily they had another Queen Suite available for us to switch into. (Unfortunately this one was right at the top of the stairs and by the elevator, so noisier.) Last issue we had, which is of no fault of the staff, was that in the middle of the night the whole hotel had the fire alarm go off! Fire department was called, (no fire determined, a guest burnt some toast on a hotplate!), so no need for evacuation. BUT, no one could find the key to have the fire alarm turned off, so it was going full loudness for more than 30 minutes in the middle of the night!!!! These emergency alarm keys should be in better spots to find easier, this seems like a big issue that should be fixed. This night was a particularly hard night, as we have a toddler and a special needs child with sensory issues, who were very affected by this 30+ minute extreme alarm. Luckily the 3 other nights we were there the stay was comfortable without any other issues!

The staff was super friendly, very accommodating, and helpful in a few instances/issues we had while there. The rooms are good sized and clean, but the sheets on the bottom barely covered the beds. The location is perfect, good location in relation to the top sight-seeing spots around Town. They gave us a very generous late checkout too.

Both remote was broke i couldn't change tv and trun volume down at all . Was very hard to get more sheets for the pulled out couch I called Friday night and the man at the desk never gave anything the whole weekend..

When I called for a pack and play for the baby it was their asap and more towels and when I asked for bags to clean it was easy to get from them . The woman working was great 👍

The staff at check in and out were incredibly rude. Had some issues they weren’t interested in helping us with, so had to talk to a manager early the next morning, the manager was as pleasant as could be and indeed helped us. The room was not thoroughly cleaned, the bathroom was scummy, the toilet clanked and rocked when sitting. Not what I expected.

I reserved a room with a balcony, but when I checked in at the hotel, they informed me that it was not available. they offered me a room on the ground floor which was very dirty and full of ants. The sink in the bathroom did not work.
