Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

At one point on our second morning, the sausage patties were gone and there wasn't much egg. There was an employee sitting at a table on her phone more or less not paying attention to those of us who were looking for that food. I approached her and explained that the container was empty and she seemed annoyed to have to refill it. Also she did take quite some time to get that task done.
The breakfast offered a nice variety of breakfast items. Coffee met with my approval! There was adequate table/chair space .

The showers In the room are too small for a tall person and there was a mouse in the room

The way the city had the roads all torn off and a maze like entrance was crappy. But that wasn’t any of the hotels fault. But it was super annoying.
I reserved my room online at the last minute and figured for a $40 hotel room it was going to be mediocre

Odour. Hotel has smoking rooms. Lobby smelled like smoke. We were in a non-smoking area and still could smell it. Very strong musty smell in general.
Location was convenient. Right off the interstate. Cost. Good value for a short stay. Breakfast was a decent selection.

Even though breakfast was from 6-9am, when we went down at 7:45am, everything was gone. Staff did not refresh the food and said they would make “special orders”, but weren’t nice about it.

There was quite a bit of hair throughout the bathroom. The breakfast was good if there would have enough food for a family of four.
I liked the fact there was a breakfast in the morning. The room was quaint.

The hotel needs a revamp. Just looks old and dirty. I am sure housekeeping does their job I did see them working hard but when stuff is just so old its hard to make it look clean! Bathtub has scratches, carpet ripped up, old blankets, etc.
Good location, pet friendly and very nice staff! front desk, housekeeper and lady that runs the breakfast were all very nice!

The gal handling the breakfast was behind by 7:30am, and when we finished, the trash cans were practically overflowing. That could have been a bit better.
The room was sufficient and beyond for my needs for a single night stay for a meeting in Fairmont.

The employee working the breakfast station was rude about the amount of people that was coming down for breakfast at 8:30, 30 minutes before breakfast ended. She stated she was not making more food. And she was complaining that she didn’t understand why everyone waited until last minute to come get food. There were plenty of people behind us in line that didn’t eat because there was no food left and no more being put out at 8:30.
We loved the location of the property being right off the exit and easy to find.

The carpet on the way down to our room was filthy, made me Kringle that our room carpet would be the same, luckily the carpet in the room was clean, do we stayed. I will put it down to maybe a busy summer and will be cleaning it very soon
