Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere was nothing we didn't like.
Spacious, very clean room, very comfortable bed. Fridge and microwave a big plus. Bathroom also very clean. We had a nice, satisfying breakfast on site before driving to Solvang, for our personal tour (10 min away from Buellton) Over all - everything was great!

ItalyVery nice staff. Great breakfast especially considering the average breakfast served by similar types of accommodation in the San Diego to San Francisco area. Waffles, scones, muffins, sausage, eggs, potatos, juice, yoghurt, some fruit and, most of all, delicious bacon. Comfy, clean and spacious room.

United States of AmericaCheck in was unpleasant but think that is attributed to personality of receptionist - believe his name was David? A business card on front desk indicated he might have been general manager? Hotel shows some wear and tear and shower is small but overall a good value for the money.
The bed is extremely comfortable although the backend of the hotel, where my room was located, borders Hwy 101 which makes it a little noisy at night. The breakfast served is great with very attentive and pleasant service. Upon check in, fresh baked chocolate cookies available too! Overall, staff are very friendly and accommodating, greeting you with cheery hello in the morning - the only exception was the young man who checked me in on Thursday, the 25th - was abrupt and condescending for an initial distasteful experience - for example, asked where I might find the Santa Ynez Valley Visitors Guide and he waved abstractly with his arm "across the street" before going back to his computer ( I discovered later a turnstile in lobby where magazine was in abundance!) or when the key didn't open door and I asked for help, he rudely indicated "follow the arrow!" Which was true - but counter intuitive as arrow is in opposite direction of font for hotel name.

United States of AmericaThere should be more staff so that the counter will always be manned by someone when guests are checking out at any time. I had to call a staff from the kitchen when I checked out because they had to help out with preparing breakfast.

United States of AmericaIf I had to be extra picky, I would say that the mini-fridge had an annoying hum, but I still slept great and didn't bother unplugging it.
Overall, the room was great - and I have been to many hotels worldwide - but what really impressed me the most was the bed size and cleanliness. Most hotels have terrible top blankets, but here even the top blanket was comfortable. The breakfast was also very decent, and that's not common in hotels nowadays. So I would definitely recommend this hotel.

United States of AmericaWhen we first checked in the room was very hot so put on AC all night but it was noisy. Rest of stay just opened the window or used my portable fan. Bathroom vent was also very noisy. Part of room above sink and microwave did not have light. Could have used a night light since had to go to bathroom in middle of night. Forgot our coffee we bought from Zaca Creek Ranch in a cupboard but that was our fault. No supercharger for our Tesla on property but we found one in Buelton at another hotel so not really a problem. First day the eggs tasted like bad powdered yuck but last morning of our stay they tasted great so I wish there was consistency because I love eggs. We were on bottom floor so if upstairs stomping bothers you ask for upper floor. Freeway traffic didn’t bother us but if it does ask for something away from freeway to minimize noise.
Location right off highway 101, dog friendly (so thankful that we could bring our dogs! comfortable beds and pillows, clean, hot breakfast included with sausages and bacon and diy waffles. Also had biscuits and gravy, so good when I ate it with sausages! I even got an apple! Coffee was fantastic, even the decaf! Hubs ate cold cereal and pastries as well as yogurt so something for everyone.lots of cupboard space in our room. Hubs forgot his deodorant and they had Old Pice for him. Fridge kept our food cold, microwave was clean. Nearby Solvang, Ostrich Land, Zaca creek Ranch with llamas and alpacas, and Nojoqui Waterfall for a hike. Close to restaurants but honestly best food we had was a little farther away.staff at check in and every morning were pleasant. I count the little dog in the 49 er jersey as staff as he greeted the guests, two legged and 4 legged.Able to get change. Had a washing machine and dryer so most of our clothes were clean heading back home.parking plentiful and I felt safe walking dogs day and night. Recommend Quality Inn and would stay again

United States of AmericaI did not like the smell of the 1st floor. The carpet was extremely dirty. I don't suffer from allergies but while we were there for 2 nights my family and I had the ugliest hacking cough. When we would leave the hotel for our touring activities, no cough. When we returned for the night, ugly cough set in. Were better now at home with no cough. Carpet needs to go. Whatever cleaning agents are being used are not working. And the soap you provide, yikes.
Breakfast was ok. Check in and out was easy. Parking available is a plus.
