It needed a non-slip surface in the tub and a towel hook next to the tub. The towels were on a rack across the room. We had to wait a couple of minutes for the desk clerk to appear and there was no way to signal someone that we were there .

There really wasn't much to complain about. It was basic and clean and in relatively close proximity to UK. With morning traffic, it still took us a little over 20 minutes to get there, but that was much better than us having to drive two hours from our home.

The facility was recently renovated and we could tell. Aside from fresh paint, the flooring seemed to be new including carpet in the bedroom and tile in the bathroom. The toilet appeared to be new and all the hardware like doorknobs seemed to be updated. The room looked and smelled clean which is most important to us. The staff were friendly checking in and checking out. There was a free breakfast bar where you could make your own waffles but we were in a bit of a hurry so I grabbed a muffin to go. It was a great value.

There was nothing that I didn’t like.

Location. They have a decent breakfast every morning. Coffee was good. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and smelled good and plenty of room. I liked the fact that the bathroom sink is outside of where the shower and toilet is. And they have a long mirror on the wall not far from the bathroom so you can see yourself fully.

Seemed like they forgot the sweep and mop the bathroom between guests, as there was noticeable hair on the floor when I got there.

The walls were very thin. One of our body towels almost had holes in it from where it was worn down. Their cleaner smell was so strong that I could taste it. The pool was cold and not opened when it said it would be. Breakfast was gross. The sausage was freezer burnt. The cream cheese tasted off.

I mentioned this to the desk clerk at checkout Sunday morning and he immediately apologized and assured me the issue would be addressed. He also gave me a 15% discount..

The second time I stayed here, the room seemed clean at first. Then as I was putting my baby on the bed, I noticed cigarette burns in the top blanket. Not too big of a deal since I can just take that off and it didn’t smell like smoke in the room. But then as I pulled the sheets back, there were tiny hairs all in the sheets. I checked the other bed and it had the same hairs in the sheets. A couple long ones but mostly small ones. Then one of the pillows had an orange stain that had a small chunk of something stuck on it. Made me feel as if the sheets and pillowcases weren’t actually cleaned. I did my best to just brush it all off and just didn’t use the pillow but it was off putting to say the least.

I stayed here twice within 2 weeks, once on the way away from home and then again on the way back. The first time was fantastic. The room was very clean and the pillows were comfy. Both trips, the staff was very friendly. The included breakfast is a great bonus even though I didn’t end up eating either time. My husband said it wasn’t bad though and my son was happy they had cereal.

Desk in room looked like it hadn't been wiped. The desk chair was so old that the fake leather was dissolving and falling off.

Breakfast was great with good selection for the price. Breakfast area was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient for me.

Our door key stopped working multiple times,and we had to keep going downstairs for them to reactivate!
